I had a disappointing experience first time having com tam here a few months ago and wanted to give it another chance today and it was STILL disappointing. The presentation of the rice plate looked very good and yummy, however the grilled pork chop was undercooked inside and tough to eat and very fatty. We ended up not touching most of the pork chop and just finished the rice, pork skin and steamed egg. Not coming back again. I quietly provided the feedback to the cashier and were told the pork chops were probably overcooked. I would not come back again for com tam.

The best place right now in OC for com tam (Viet broken rice with grilled pork). We have tried many com tam in the past from cheap ($10) to expensive ($15). This one leans to expensive side but they will give you 2 big grilled pork chops not fried ones. The grill marks and smell are incredible. Rice is good too not mushy. Service is good and fast too. Overall highly recommend just be careful of the parking it can be very crowded during weekends.

Soda served in metal cup is a plus. The cha was overcooked/burnt (picture is less brown then it was in person) the bbq beef wasn't flame grilled. The extra fried egg was overeasy when Sunnyside up was expected. The fishsauce had Chilli already added. Price, value, and service was great. Neither the worst nor best.

If I could I would rate this less than 1 star. How's the food? I wouldn't know. Half of our party arrived 15-20 minutes later, ordered and got their food before my dish even arrived. As I watch other tables get the same dish I ordered instead of giving it to me first, I was already unhappy. 15 minutes later after having to ask 2 different people about my food, a dish finally came out and it wasn't even what I ordered. Horrible service and would never recommend.

Good food. Good portion. Good price. Their pork chop is moist and tasty. The cha and bi were good. Unfortunately, the banh mi chao sauce was salty, while the eggs were served on a separate plate. Missing the pate. The bread is usually the highlight of this dish, but it was just okay. They could improve on this dish.

Portion sizes were amazing for the price! They give you a hefty portion of protein, I could barely finish my own plate. Taste was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Some parts of the meat were hard, but for what you get, I cannot complain. You get a side of soup, and also a small desert. Everything tasted good overall. If you are around the area, I highly suggest going here!

Decent cơm tấm restaurant! 🙂

My family came by and were pleasantly surprised by all the dishes. They all tasted really good and the portion was a lot bigger than other places. They also gave us complimentary chè desserts which was nice!

* Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả: 7/10 - meat and chả tasted good
* Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò Tôm Chiên: 8/10 - really crispy and nice flavor
* Cơm Tấm Sườn: 8/10 - pretty standard

The restaurant itself was quite spacious with lots of booths for sitting. They're located in a plaza so it's easy to find a parking spot. Everything came out rather quickly and they gave us really large-sized drinks! 🙂

Spacious and comfortable space. convenient parking. ribs and grilled meat are marinated to perfection. fish sauce is very delicious. However, the egg cake werent fresh with me and my friends.
