Several years ago I became very ill with a very strange series of symptoms. Didn't mean that I wasn't sick, but it gave the insurance company just enough of an opening that they thought that they could get away with not having to pay on the policy.
I interviewed and hired Brian Kim early in my illness when the insurance company fought paying the short term disability policy. It took a bit but Brian was able to help me resolve the matter. Unfortunately, Prudential decided that it would be good sport to continue to mess with the sick guy and his family and not pay LTD benefits.
As I have gotten to know Brian, I'm so favorably impressed with his work ethic and his follow through. When you call, he either answers or calls back in relatively short order. He is thorough and thoughtful in his preparation and does his best to resolve issues in our favor before litigation is needed. Brian has been on top of communications management, intercepting and either correcting, answering or denying requests and/or assertions by the insurance company. In doing so, he has protected me from myself, especially when I am undergoing medical treatment that can leave me mentally vulnerable.
Bottom line, Brian has had my back the entire time. And, while I'd never wish having to go through this on anyone, having Brian in your corner makes it a bit easier. Brian was brilliant in arranging my LTD coverage and cementing the life insurance policy I was promised as part of my employment agreement.
Part of what makes Brian so effective is the fantastic staff at BKK. All of the folks in the office will do whatever it takes to make certain that your message gets through, your letter gets sent or your documents are filed. Conscientious and supportive, the BKK staff are the perfect complement to Brian's practice in that they make me feel as though I am the only client that they have to worry about. Very unusual for a law practice.
I'm extremely satisfied with the service provided by Brian Kim and the staff of BKK.
