We had our 2015 Allegro Bus at Bay Diesel this week for engine/generator service and to repair our in dash a/c. We were completely impressed with their thorough evaluation, not just with the items we brought for service/repair, but also finding cracked and broken brackets that were replaced, noticing that the water pump was leaking, which they ordered and were then able to fit us in to replace it before we left the area, and how they noted a couple of other items that we should keep an eye on. We are taking a trip to Alaska this summer with a group and are feeling like we are as prepared mechanically as we possibly can be. We can have the engine worked on at Rush Trucking, but they aren’t even 1/3 as thorough and they don’t really understand RVs, just engines. Bay Diesel: Great team work. Great Service. Great Experience.

Why do you drive 1,200 miles to have your diesel Tiffin serviced in Red Bay Alabama asks my friends and family? Well, if you’re looking for the Mecca of professional service and talent where they don’t miss a thing unlike the high end truck service centers in the Northeast- you come here. Today in 4 hours I had my transmission serviced, a full chassis inspection where my rear shock had blown (I replaced all 4) and the seals on my engine fan gear were compromised. My temperamental electric stairs were fixed and I left Bay Diesel with a big smile on my face because I got to hang out with pros who explained everything and let me walk into the shop and get under the coach. So informative. That’s why I drive 1200 miles to come to the Tiffin Mecca

BIG shout out to Bay Diesel. Was on the road to Red Bay for body work when ABS light came on and cruise control quit. Texted them while on the road and they fit us in the day after we arrived in Red Bay. Pulled in to their shop and was immediately directed into a repair bay. Their tech Aaron got right to work and found the problem quickly and pointed it out, and promptly resolved the problem. Other techs also went over the entire chassis and repaired other concerns. Phenomal service and extremely fair pricing. I highly recommend their shop. 2022 Tiffin Allegro Red. Thanks again to Aaron and the entire service team!

Bay Diesel serviced my Allegro Bus. They were highly professional and got me in before my scheduled appointment time and went right to work. They did a great job of discussing the services requested and the periods at which maintenance should be performed. They have a comfortable waiting room, and friendly staff. Limped into Red Bay with engine stop light and check engine light, but not derated. Needed to return home in 3 days, 500 miles away. Theresa talked to a mechanic who said he would work it in. I was repaired and underway by mid afternoon. They worked me in as an emergency repair and I am ever so grateful. Thomas and Mark worked well together in diagnosing bad VGT and had replacement on the shelf. Thank you Bay Diesel for getting us back on the road!

Red Bay Diesel is our diesel shop of choice. We have recieved our yearly service here for over eleven years. Chris, the owner, has set his pricing fairly for the service that you recieve. We always schedule our service a few months out. They always follow up with us to be sure that we will be their. Once yo arrive they go over any and all work that they recommend doing. They have never tried to sell me something that I did not need. You are allowed in the shop while your work is being performed. The highly trained technicians will show you and explain what they are doing. They will answer any and all questions that you have. You can pay by cash, check or charge card however there is a fee for using a credit card. Definitely the best diesel service in Alabama.

Got the engine, transmission, rear end and generator serviced while it was on the jacks they noticed the shocks and airbags needed replaced as well and got it ALL done in one day! Highly recommend they are very friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced! Great place to do business.

The service I received from the office staff in scheduling my appointment with follow up calls to confirm, along with Aaron the technician who performed the repairs on my Tiffin AC compressor, was excellent. i will continue using this shop to do a full range of repairs and maintenance on my Tiffin bus.
