I was fighting such a hard battle for custody of my two sons. i unfortunately lost custody in 2018, my husband found her and we immediately hired her and filed an appeal. Barbara was great, she shared tears with me and fought so hard for what was right. We unfortunately did not win the appeal but we never gave up, she allowed me to make payments and advised me to document everything. I was not giving up, and neither was Barbara. Fast forward to July of 2021 , we took the case back in front of the magistrate. I was confident that my sons would be returned home, there were so many times i felt helpless and hopeless. Barbara picked my head up and always reminded me of what was at stake. We still lost unfortunately, and of course once again Barbara did not stop. Unfortunately I was placed in a position to obtain an attorney for my daughter's safety. It was a situation that did not allow for time to be wasted. Divorce is hard.
When the temporary orders initially came out I had 33 percent of my net income to live on. I only got to see my kids every other weekend. After having had them my whole life it was soul crushing.
