Everything was ok, food was good, party was fun. A lot of people (long lines to restrooms and open bar), some of them had to seat and eat on the stairs, I'm not sure why. Cruise was great but the price should be a bit lower for the offer what we got (we didn't get a bottle of champagne that was on offer for "Deck 3 - commodore club vip private table for 2 guests" - we only got a glass).

Highly recommend the Marriott Marquis ball drop event, plenty of good food, great music , great atmosphere. It's definitely a high price event, however the once in a lifetime experience is well worth it. Wear your best suit, tuxedo, evening gowns. Have a Ball !!!
Get to New York early, like a few days, take in the sights, go to Central Park, Empire State building, Rockefeller Center, etc. Do it all, and spare no expense, WORTH IT !!!!

Highly recommend the AMC for new year's eve. We paid for platinum view with a table for 4. The ages in our group were 10, 13, 48 and 75 years old.

Instructions of how to get there was easy and accurate. The Balldrop staff got us through the checkpoints. The theater has many floors. Each pay level had their own floor for food, drinks and dancing so I can only speak to the experience on the platinum floor. You are able to go to different floors for movies, but the movie we watched "Wicked" was showing on our floor so there was no need for us to visit other floors.

Once inside we had a wonderful time. Food was good. To my knowledge they never ran out of food. (Picture of menu included. Note that they denote vegetarian and gluten free on their menu,) They had candy, popcorn and alcoholic/nonalcoholic drinks. Music was great and lots of people dancing.

At one point someone claimed our table when we were watching a movie, but the staff took care of it and we were able to be seated at our table again after our movie was over.

They had a photo booth, horns, tiaras, beads and at midnight light up foam sticks. The balcony was huge. We were not crowded at midnight and got to see the ball drop. Note that you are viewing the ball from the side streets so you don't see the action on the ground in Time Square nor do you see the year light up or confetti drop, but you definitely see the ball drop and fireworks. (Picture of ball from balcony included.) It rained on New Year's eve so it was nice to be inside warm and dry. Balldrop had ponchos in case it was raining while the ball was dropping but it didn't.

While on the balcony waiting for the ball to drop we met a lovely family visiting from Ireland which only made our experience all the more joyous and memorable.

The event was till 1AM which was nice because most of Time Square had cleared out and we did not have to walk back to our hotel in a massive crowd.

I was skeptical about this experience with all the reviews being so-so, but I would definitely do this again and recommend it. Note that if you do not purchase a table then you had to stand or sit on the floor while eating. Thanks Balldrop for wonderful memorable ringing in of 2025.

Was an amazing experience even with the rain that tried to ruin the party. Dancing on the 54th floor of the hyatt centric in the rain in new york city on new years watching the ball drop is something i dont believe many people in this world can say they did...was the time of our lives. Food and drinks were amazing the service was epic as well...thank you soooo much and i will share our experience with everyone for the rest of my life...
