I wish I could give them zero stars. I feel scammed and am extremely frustrated with how my car warranty cancellation has been handled, or rather, not handled at all. Recently, I purchased a Toyota RAV4, and, unbeknownst to me, two warranties were unexpectedly added to my bill, resulting in a 20 percent increase in cost.

After two weeks of relentless calling with no response or assistance (their customer service representative does not exist and the extension code for the finance department immediately ends the call), I finally received an incredibly frustrating call from someone at AutoNation Finance. I was informed that I cannot cancel the warranty, even though I am well within the allowed timeframe. The reasoning provided—claiming it would impact their profits—is completely unacceptable. I was also told that if I insisted on canceling, I would need to return the car for resale - which is utterly absurd.

After working with my seller to escalate the issue to the AutoNation Hyundai Finance Director, I was assured multiple times that my warranty was canceled. Yet, after all of this, I received the bill with no changes made. This situation is not only frustrating but also deeply unprofessional. I expect a resolution that respects my rights as a customer or I plan to escalate my complaint to the Better Business Bureau and legal action.

P.s. Recently discovered that they sold me a car with a rats nest in the engine compartment. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS BUSINESS.

I purchased a car from autonation and still have not heard anything from CIG no email no snail mail, nothing. I need to set up a payment for I am leaving state this month and I have found their process to be the poorest I have ever seen Suggest to not use their financing, get your own. Plus they have a high interest rate for a used car.

If I could give this business zero stars I would… They add late fees to your account without letting you know… Not to mention there’s only one person who does the email… Not to mention they already charge you a 5.99 on top of your payment. We are already paying enough on a car payment, There should not be a processing fee. If I could give anyone any good advice, avoid AutoNation altogether

DONT DO IT. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Avoid the heartbreak. 1 year ago I financed my old car through them at a 29% interest rate! They will take your money and not even blink. I was making all of my payments on time for 1 year and somehow none of my payments went towards the car. Avoid at all costs.

Worst finance company ever!!! Along with auto nation vw Carlsbad. Extremely unprofessional employees across the board. Will lie to you about any and everything including your interest at signing don’t get it twisted the interest is 20.1 % !!!! They will tell you it’s lower read your contract !! And make sure any repairs promised no matter how small are in the contract before leaving with your car ! Make sure that there’s absolutely no other loan company you can go with before using them. They took my car from storage after my accident when insurance did not go get it and did not even contact me, then expected me to make my car payment while they were in possession of my car. They are offering me no solution and leaving me left without a vehicle , as well as my insurance company who actually told them to go the car. Which is why they picked it up since Tesla had not went to get it in the last two months but that’s for a different review. All I know is that Tesla better have to pay them for my car due to it obviously being a total loss to me because I was told by Darrell and Amanda I just had to pay $1200 to get it back for the one payment I didn’t make while it was in their possession! which I was ready to make, then they said they sent a notice of intent to my old address when I had told them I moved & was moving the hole time I was in contact with them about my insurance company needing to go get the car. Darrell who probably was the one I gave the new address to that didn’t log it, kept insisting repeatedly did I update my address with the post office?- Um no Darrell I don’t have a car, thought calling would be more sufficient then forwarding my mail. But even when I went to my old address to get this letter they claim to have sent it was not even there! They also don’t put your balance of what you owe on the car on the bill because you can put 10k down and be making your payments on time for 6m-1yr and barely be paid down ANYTHING! My car was purchased for $21000 came to about 24something k after the ridiculous packages - don’t buy them either. Especially if you get a Tesla from them-absolutely don’t do that. Bc they would have to out source your Tesla for just about anything. Except tires & ding and scratch. But book the appointment and see if they even have you on the schedule-bc they won’t! You’ll take off work and think I’ll just drop off my car and go shopping and come back and it will be done. NOPEEE! Nothing is stress free with this company . You will sit there for 8 hours and nothing will get done. So now they have my car and what I should’ve done already was get my car refinanced so I’m approved now, so I called for the pay off amount. Which is more then what I was supposed to be paying for the car originally with 4K down on a 21k car purchased in March is Oct guess what I owe ? $$$$$ 24,809.13 !!!!! $$$$$ &they want the full amount now for me to get my car back bc apparently I had ten days to respond to the letter that they’ll see I did not receive when it’s returned to sender by the post office . That is if they even sent it!! Bc they didn’t call or email me. Like really it’s 2024 text me , email me, CALLL ME. I would love to see my phone records to see if they actually ever even called. So originally it was twelve hundred to get my car back.Now the pay off is 25k almost and I call to see about that and tell Darrell that I’m getting refinanced so they know I want my shit back!ain’t no body got time for their bull shit games and prices. Then he says my cars at the auction lot.Yeah bro I know I’ve had the address I can see where my car is in the app you think I didn’t Google the address.Of course I did dummy.It’s been there since they went to get it n took it 2hrs away! but you were going to take my 1200 n I was supposed to get it back but now it’s being auctioned? When it’s in my name and I want to come get it!? what in the world is wrong with these ppl?Why are they offering no solution when the car was not taken bc of me.I have to good of credit be dealing with this.Almost@800!Don’t ruin my shit!

Apparently only have one person responding to customer service emails. Worst loan payment interface I've ever used, and seemingly impossible to reach someone on the phone. P.S. any call back service their phone service mentions doesn't work, stay on the line. They won't call you back.

Edit: They didn't even read my review, I suppose. You want me to be put on hold for hours with a phone call or send an email into the void? The same things I just complained about. Funny.

2nd Edit: Refinanced my loan to a different lender. My account is paid off, and now their phone system won't even attempt to connect me to an agent to cancel my autopayment. All it does is loop through the same menu. I was hoping they would take the hint when the acount was paid off and cancel the autopay, but they did not. Now they are just holding onto my payments with no one to talk with to understand when the overpayment will be sent back. Theft.

On May 14th of this year was pulled over by the North Las Vegas police department at gunpoint.
I was arrested handcuff, read my rights. And was told that my car was reported stolen in 2023 May 15th After being held for 2 hours by the police, my car was impounded. I was left stranded. I had to pay $350 to get my car out the next day. I have addressed this over the last few weeks with this company. And they refuse to take responsibility. I.
Found out through a local attorney.
Please who checked with a DMV investgator the car was reported by CIG AUTONATION ! If their But attorney.
That can help me out. I appreciate it. I am not looking for a king's ransom. I merely want what's fair to the humiliation I went through ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS I HAVE HEARD NOTHING BACK SENT Emails 2.

I find this REPREHENSIBLE. ONE MONTH LATER YOU STILL IGNORE ME. YOU REMIND ME OF THE SHADY DEALERSHIPS I HAD TO DEAL WITH IN.THE 80S IS THER A lawyer here in Las Vegas that will take my case against these criminals.? So far, the lawyers I have contacted. Ignore me, will not even respond back.

They repossessed my car last night. I had all my credential in there. The repossessed company didn’t have any appointments. I’m late on payments for 3 months because I had life saving surgery and I was out of work for a couple of months. I did pay a payment last month and I had to chose to pay my rent or my car note. This place told me I should take care of my business. I went to surgery 2/29/24. Out on sick leave until 4/15/24 and didn’t get my first check until 5/6/24. I paid my rent. Now my property is hostage until Monday and I have to pay them $2600 to get my car out. Don’t get any loans from them!!!!!! Ever. You might as well have died because they don’t care.
