Can you believe these people? We closed on our new house on Friday and didn't get closing docs back to us mid-day on Monday. They shut our water off at 1 pm because we didn't send closing docs to them. We called to get it turned back on. They said they hoped to get it back on but couldn't assure us because they were short staffed. But they weren't short staffed to turn off the water less than 1 business day after house closing

Shut us off WITHOUT NOTICE over $50. This is the most petty company I have ever had to deal with. We have had problems in the past with them doubling our bill and then claiming we had to have a leak somewhere.. yet randomly the following bill was normal .. and no leak was found. There is something very sketchy going on here. If you can avoid working with them, I highly recommend you do.

It isn’t breaking news that Arizona Water Co. is a trash can of a company…just look at their majority 1-star reviews from nearly every town they operate in. Oracle’s location, like the others, will shut your water service off for, at least as low as, $22.00 - as it has happened to me twice. They shut our low-income neighbors and community members’ water off in the heat of summer without remorse…and add a “poverty tax” on top of it for them to get their water back on. Water is a human right and AZ Water Co. is absolutely heartless and complicit in the harm and stress of working class people. Folks should be awarded a bare minimum amount of water and charged for excessive use.

Finally, on a lesser note, paying your bill is an absurd process. Cash & check only, and they don't accept over the phone payments nor online payments…instead, the customer has to pay a third-party fee to pay their bill…so you have to pay them to pay them. Additionally, you have to, archaically, print and send in a paper form application if you want to set up automatic payments. One would think there would be capitalist motives in place for a corporation to make receiving money from their customers as simple and convenient as possible.

The lady up front, Shavone is just awful. Terrible attitude, zero customer service and I literally always have issues when she handles things for me. Just plain AWFUL, shouldn't be working with the public at all.
