While all of Huntsville was shutdown for a whole week due to winter weather in January 2024, Amy found a way to get to the office and even came in on Sunday to get prepared. She poured her heart and soul into my case. Amy answered every email I sent her , never leaving me without an answer I needed. After witnessing her deposition skills, I can say with experience that in my opinion she is top of class in her field. A few tips I'll provide.
1: Be honest, your attorney cannot help you if they do not know the truth. If you aren't honest with your attorney, how can they help you? The truth will ALWAYS come out.

2: Listen to your attorney, take notes and most importantly DO WHAT THEY SAY. Your attorney is the expert in the legal field, not you. You are paying them to provide a service, let them do there job.

3: It is up to you to help your own case. Take time to put your data together so your attorney can quickly go through it. In the long run this will save you money because they won't have to spend so much time sifting through things. You can help yourself greatly in this area.

Sarah Meigs is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and honest. She is the second attorney used for my divorce. I had no idea as to what I was legally obligated to do or entitled to receive until I hired her.
