My experience with AAN has been very good. I had some difficulty with my application due to hard to find records of my previous notary information, but in one call to AAN, Malerie T. answered all my questions satisfactorily and quickly and provided the phone number for the State office for me to contact with any further questions. I have been trying since November to receive my certificate. I originally mailed my paperwork on 11/18/24. After two weeks I hadn’t receive any notification that my paperwork had been received. I finally called and they said they hadn’t recieved it. I checked my tracking number and it showed that it had been delivered. I was told it wasn’t in the building and that I needed to start over. I did that and sent it certified again(which is not cheap). It was received this time, and I was approved by the state before Christmas. I decided to call today and see what was going on. The first person I talked to told me my oath and bond had been mailed out two weeks ago and that I needed to call the state. I did. They said they hadn’t received it. I call customer service back and a different person told me it was mailed out Friday which was not what I was told the first time. I was provided with a tracking number. It showed that the label was created but they haven’t received the package yet. I called back for the third time and was told to give it to the end of the week and if they still don’t have it, I’ll have to start over again! This is very unprofessional. I do not appreciate being told lies and receiving different answers.

The customer service has drastically changed and unprofessional. Order processing takes way to long even when paying the highest/fastest shipping. Emailed several times no communication and when called was greeted with an attitude and unprofessional service. When I had to renew my notary license the lady who help was great and very helpful ordering new supplies after my stamp broke was the biggest headache!
