3,500.00 for him to not be present for 2 different meetings and me coming from from 2 hours away. Had a phone conversation with for 5 mins while he was driving to have the call drop and never call me back. Talked me out of a jury trial in a very winnable case. He showed up to court 4 times. I'm not sentenced yet and would like to have a chance at a jury trial. I could've gave myself a better chance representing myself. Facts. It's not and warm and fuzzy feeling to throw your time and money away. Good job buddy thanks for nothing.

Thanks for nothing. My son had attorney Williams. Public defender or not you still took a oath when you raised your hand to integrity etc
Going to court and watching attorney Williams doing nothing was very disappointing.
There was more he could have done, but he chose not to.
I wish I could have been my son’s lawyer that day.
My son called the Amato Law firm 2 weeks ago to speak to attorney Williams and no call back for updates or anything on my son’s case.
The reviews are true, they don’t call back.
Attorney Williams was fired today.
Yes he is a public defender but he still has obligations to his client.
My son is in better hands now with an attorney who will actually fight for my son.

Chris Amoto did a well job handling a situation that we had come up. Definitely recommend him to anyone who needs him. He was very helpful, if ever needed again I would go back to him. He is very knowledgeable person.

Where do I start. He was assigned to my husband's Felony OVI case as his public defender. At first, they showed us respect, but then as time went on, he was telling my husband things that he was going to do and having his secretary tell my husband things that he was doing for him, but those things to help his case was not actually being done. They never reply to emails and they do not return your calls.

This review is about Chris Weeda.

First he was assigned as a defense attorney and really won me over, so much that I hired him for a separate matter. Not only did he underperform as a defense attorney but he also never filed for the separate matter that I hired him for. It has been over a year now and he will not answer or reply to any calls. It is to the point that I will have to take legal action against him for not taking any action for what he was hired for. This was my first real experience with hiring a lawyer and he has really proven to be very unprofessional and even neglectful with how he has dealt with me.

Absolutely the worst law office! I would give negative stars if I could. Was using them for adoption purposes and it took two years of constant calls to check on things and no responses or always being told we will call you back and no one ever does. One guy working on our case left that office and no one notified us and then it was handed over to someone else and they were just as useless as the last guy. If I needed back a document for other purposes because they were taking too long to do anything, their response would be that they needed a couple days to PULL IT FROM THEIR FILE. How hard is it to open a folder and hand me my document when I'm right outside waiting?! Two years with no progress on an adoption and the money put into it wasted. Eventually gave up and went with another attorney. Go anywhere else! Anywhere!
