The attorney and paralegal delayed my case for a month, and when they resumed, there was complete miscommunication about my requests and what had been agreed upon. The attorney has told me we will not go for a quite claim deed in the first meeting, but they proceed with it after a month. They ultimately issued a refund and chose not to proceed with my case. I'm genuinely surprised they declined or failed to handle such a straightforward matter. This experience has been entirely disappointing, and NOT professional.

I do not recommend this firm.

States Order on stipulation to reprimand
In re Kristofer Delbert Leavitt bar #54618,
states: "IT IS ORDERED that the August 5, 2025 stipulation to reprimand is approved."

In Records request GAL said, “You will verify that she does not have any immigration issues, and you will provide me with her residential address.”

My white peers who have gone through similar custody processes were never even asked, let alone interrogated, about their citizenship.

Proposed comment to RPC 8.4 RPC 8.4 – MISCONDUCT It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to: ... (d) engage in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice... Proposed comment: Paragraph (d) of this Rule includes a lawyer’s effort to report an individual to immigration authorities and to assist in civil immigration enforcement. Issues involving immigration and citizenship status carry a significant danger of interfering with the proper functioning of the justice system. See Salas v. Hi-tech Erectors, 168 Wn.2d 664, 230 P.3d 583 (2010).

Therefore, assisting in civil immigration enforcement operations by reporting individuals to immigration authorities, or by sharing personal information, including but not limited to, home address, court hearing dates, citizenship or immigration status or place of birth, absent a court order, to facilitate civil immigration arrests is improper conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice and is thus in violation of this Rule.

Former Attorney of O’Brian & Associates States:
"Mr. Hernandez’s complaint also includes information about a response to a google review he left for O’Brian & Associates (now Alpine Family Law)
Mr. Hernandez complaint explains he left a poor review and an Alpine staffer identified as “owner” responded to the review revealing confidential information.
I did not respond to the google review. I am not and have never been an owner at
O’Brian & Associates (now Alpine Family Law). I do not know who responded to the
review. Google explains that in order for owners to respond to google reviews they have
to go through a verification process. See Exhibit E. The managing partner/owner,
Kristofer Leavitt, was and is the owner of the firm. Mr. Leavitt represented Mr. Hernandez when I left the firm to practice at a non-profit providing immigration legal
services."

In the GAL report, I could not find the word "combative" an unbelievable claim made by "Alpine Family Law (Owner)" against there previous client. The GAL in this case has misinformed the court on the record under penalty of perjury.
