I paid Greg $1,000 to start a case for me over an asbestos related problem that I encountered after purchasing an old school building at an online auction. He was the first lawyer I talked to that actually took an interest in the case and acted like he was going to help, so I excitedly hired him and gave him $1,000 up front. This has been almost 2 years ago. He has sent out one letter requesting that I would like the money I spent on the project back and that's it. I cannot get a hold of him now it's been going on a year since I last spoke to him probably. I've tried to contact him several times and left messages and he he won't return my phone calls and he has done nothing further. The last time I spoke with him he was going to send out another letter informing the person who owned the building before that we were going to sue but he has not done that. I don't know why he would take the case if he couldn't do something more than what he's done and why I had to pay him $1,000 to send one letter. It is not very good for business when you give somebody your word you're going to do something and then don't hold up to your end. If you have a case and you're looking to get something done and would like to have a lawyer that's on top of his business and keeps his word I would not hire him. Also I see that he has reviews on here from just a few months ago as well as a few weeks ago so that says to me that he is still operating and doing business and has just been ignoring me intentionally. I think I may go to the better Business bureau and see what I can do or my good friend Herby Branscum who who is an outstanding lawyer that I highly would recommend. Before I hired Greg I talked to Herby about the case and he said this wasn't his area of expertise that I should probably look into hiring a real estate lawyer so I did, but I'm pretty sure that what Mr. Almand has done is in his area of expertise. I was hoping that I would hear back from him that's why I have let this go for some time now hoping he would do the right thing but since that's not happening as of now I guess we will have to take the next step and get this matter resolved one way or another. I'm also going to share this post on social media and put it out there for the public so that they will be aware and won't make the same mistake I made and waste their money and time hopefully. If a person can't be true to their word then what do they have to stand on.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for a review. I was referred to Gregg by another attorney for a wrongful death settlement regarding my late husband. My former in-laws refused a settlement agreement and I needed someone to protect my interests at the disbursement hearing. I first spoke to Gregg and was skeptical of all attorneys because of the experience I had previously with the estate attorney. I gave Gregg the details and he told me which direction he would take with my case.

After I hired him, I got scared once again because the hearing was approaching and I hadn't heard from him. However; that's his strategy and he is so much more calm than I am! 🙂 His assistant Renee called me and scheduled a time when they would call to go over the details. She asked me if it would be okay to call on the weekend because our hearing was Monday. I told her anytime was fine. Renee and Gregg worked from that Thursday thru Sunday night getting every detail in order, asking every question they thought would be asked, and all the while reassuring me we would be fine. I was scared to death.

When the hearing came, Gregg was AWESOME and done everything he told me we would be able to do!!! Renee comforted me via email throughout the entire hearing (because we attended thru Zoom) and we won the case! Gregg and Renee are not only the very best at their jobs, they are down to earth good people! They made me feel like I had known them for years and comforted me thru the entire heart breaking process. With me being out of state too, Gregg made the process of receiving the money from the estate as painless as possible too!

I would go somewhere else, I paid him his retainer fee and he did absolutely nothing with my case ,he couldn’t figure out who to properly serve as of now case is still pending and the home that I wanted already sold to someone else and I never got a response from this so called attorney very bad investment look elsewhere, flew from out of state just waste money and time
