I was court appointed this intimate female hygiene product for a custody case in January, his office didnt contact me to let me know this until the last week of March, and told me I was scheduled a DNA test with labcorp at 8:30 last Friday. I was 15 minutes late to the test and when I checked in at labor I was told to come back nearly 5 hours later at 1:15, when I did labor told me there was no order for a DNA test so for the second time that day I went home. I had to make it to the state trooper office to take my driver's test to get my revoked license back same day but otw I called his office to let them know there wasnt an order or at least laborp didnt have one, and was told id receive a call back and I did today, the following Monday. When David called me he had an attitude and suggested he didnt care I had things to do and that the judge was going to be mad that I didn't come to his office that day, pick up a physical copy, reschedule the test with labcorp FOR THEM, and still get the test done even though I had been up there twice on the day his office told me to and was rejected both times. By the end of our phone call we were both irritated and he suggested that he withdraw as my attorney and I be appointed another, to which I HAPPILY agreed...

This was my honest experience with him as my attorney. He was 2 months late in contacting me when he was appointed, then was an a hole the only time I ever spoke to him on the phone. I wasnt nice to him either in his defense. Maybe you'll have a better experience but I'd give the entire experience less than 1 star if I could...

For reference I am employed as a travel merchandiser for two companies SASR and SPAR, and I am rarely even in Anniston to handle these things. I dont know if he even knows that because I was unemployed at first... but I am busy with real life responsibilities not personal leisure, and i guess his office doesnt own a fax or email to send labcorp the order themselves? Idk man... if u can choose your lawyer I wouldn't choose him tho. I had much better interactions with both Micheal Laplante and Jennifer Argo before so I at least have them for comparison and I liked them....

This man is just horrible, told us it would be $2000 and when everything was finished he went and got a judgement for another $3500. This man did nothing but make two visits and played on his phone in court. He is a total scam and cares nothing for the children, he just uses the family court system to scam people for money. If you want a lawyer for family court DO NOT get any lawyer from this area go to Birmingham, most know each other along with the judges.

Update: My son contacted him, he now says the $2000. Was just to get him started and it was $200 an hour and if he doesn’t pay he was going to have him put in jail.

UPDATE- we were told the cost of the kids lawyer would be 2,000 after the final judgement was made we thought everything was done and over with, until today when we get a judgement stating we now have to pay 3500 more when everythings over. This man did NOTHING to help us or the kids involved, he sat on the stand and in the court room playing on his phone. If I could give no stars I would. This man was a total waste of 2 grand. He allowed Children to go back to filth and neglect.

Seemed more interested in helping further his career than helping my son. Put our trust in him anyway and he let us down. Found out later on he could've done more but was more interested in helping the judge with his agenda. If you can afford it, I suggest look for a lawyer from Birmingham.

David Is The Worst Lawyer I've Ever Dealt With First Time I've Been Away From My Kids In 6 Months He Never Worked on My Case I Had To Call & Write Emails He Never Responds, He's A Joke Get A Paid Lawyer If You Working With DHR Because He Works For The State & Not Me or My Family Hes A liar and Really Dont Take out the Time With His Clients He's Definitely Abused His Oath of Representing Clients, He Worked Against Me not With Me I have to Pay A lawyer To Do The Work he was suppose to Do, Dont Know How He Sleeps At Night Knowing He Dont Do His Job, I can't Speak for Everyone but for me & my family He really Railroad My Case & Got Paid Anyways because he works for the State🤔
