At first I was upset because I had an issue with an item i ordered. I reached out to customer service and they were more than willing to help resolve my issue. I am very much appreciative of their efforts to fix things and would now recommend Albee Baby to everyone! I am so happy with my experience and they did such an amazing job to make sure that I am a happy customer. I will be a customer for life now. I would give Albee Baby 10/5 stars if I could. My husband and I worked with Selina to get our baby gear — stroller, car seat, dresser, and glider. She and the whole staff were helpful, but Selina specifically took the time to explain the various products and compare and contrast what makes a good product from a great one. We felt more than confident in our purchases after working with her. Selina even made herself available to answer lingering questions about the products weeks after they were purchased and our daughter was born.

Additionally, Albee Baby has a helpful points system that offered us the best discount for all the furniture and gear, which all expecting parents know is helpful when preparing for a new baby. Look no further than Albee Baby when searching for baby products in NYC!

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Save Yourself the Headache

I strongly advise against shopping at Albee Baby after our frustrating experience. The store made a pricing mistake which they acknowledged, but then refused to honor their quoted price for items we had already paid for. We were forced to handle the returns ourselves because the experience was so negative that we wanted nothing more to do with them.

The customer service was particularly disappointing for a baby store, where you'd expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff showed no enthusiasm or positivity - not a single smile or sign of genuine interest in helping customers.

What makes this even worse is that as first-time grandparents, we were about to purchase everything from scratch - cribs, strollers, car seats, and countless other essentials. Any experienced retailer should know that new grandparents (and their kids) are potentially lifetime customers who need to continuously buy items as their grandchildren grow. By refusing to make things right, they've lost not just one sale, but years of future purchases.

In an era where online shopping is increasingly convenient, you'd expect a brick-and-mortar store to go above and beyond to earn customer loyalty, especially when all they had to do was correct their own mistake. Instead, they seemed completely unconcerned about losing business to competitors.

After this ordeal, we went to a competitor and found everything we needed in just 10 minutes - at even better prices! Albee Baby's poor business decisions not only cost them our sale but also all future business from our network of friends. They had to absorb shipping and restocking costs, plus lost the opportunity to build a lasting relationship with customers who will regularly shop for baby items.

As someone who frequently shares recommendations, we feel compelled to warn others. There are better options available with more reliable service and pricing. Don't waste your time here - save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

My husband and I went to this store yesterday to look at a specific stroller. Selena at the store was terrific in understanding our needs and recommended a stroller we had never thought of. She went the extra mile to ensure it fit in our car, and showed us all its features patiently. We were blown away at how knowledgeable she was and the attention she gave us. We also had a lot of help from Tonya at the store who also explained in the detail the features of another stroller. We ended up buying our stroller from them in store. If you are on the lookout for any baby products I would highly recommend the Albee Baby store in the UWS and a huge shout out to Selena and Tonya for their hardwork!

This place is the absolute best place to figure out your stroller and car seat. They never try to upsell you and give you honest reviews of what products work best and why. I went back three times testing out products until I made my decision and Tedra was so unbelievably helpful and patient!! Make sure to ask for her when you go!
