Lars is very rude. I drove out an hour and a half to visit with him, but because the other party did not show up, he spoke for me to less than 10 minutes telling me he didn’t think I had a good case. Proceeded not to ask to see any of the evidence I had gathered, and then concluded that “with everything you’ve shown me, the court won’t approve”. He is not thorough or determined to represent you and seems to be focused only on whether or not you have a good case, even without seeing all the evidence. He is the reason I dropped my case. He is a terrible lawyer and I have every right to say all of this.

I called Loberg Law Office today seeking legal advice and received a callback from an attorney who has previously worked with my parents. Instead of providing clarification on the documents I received, I was met with hostility. The lawyer immediately told me I was “walking a tight rope” and that I should find another attorney if I wanted representation—despite the fact that I never asked for representation, only advice.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and the rude, dismissive way I was treated over the phone. I expected guidance and courtesy, not to be chewed out for simply trying to understand important paperwork.

Update:
Robert from Loberg Law called me back today to explain that he was getting over a virus, as if that justified his behavior yesterday. I asked why that suddenly made him want to give me the time of day now, and I can only assume it’s because I left a 1-star review. He never once apologized, instead trying to justify his actions and even turning it around as if I was the rude one. When I told him I was good and I didn’t want his help, he replied, “Yeah, you are good,” and then hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional. I would feel bad for anyone who uses him as representation.

But when my wife calls to ask Robert questions to further understand a purchase agreement he wrote and gets completely disrespected, belittled, and intimidated without getting 1 answer about any of her questions. I feel that is worth giving a 1 star review of our experience. There is no excuse to act that way to someone. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
