I received great advice about which base would look good, support the heavy marble, and work well. Then, I received advice about how to attach the base to the marble. The base was delivered according to the communicated delivery time frame and it was packaged very thoroughly to ensure no damage, in a custom package; I live many states away. I purchased a W-style table base for a 60" round walnut table I built for our new kitchen. First, it was easy to email back and forth with the owner to get advice on size and finishes. Fast response each time. Second, when I opened the heavy duty shipping carton in which this arrived, I was very pleased to see how well it was packed to prevent any damage. And third, after I attached it to the underside of the table, all it took was a few minutes of adjusting the threaded feet to get the table dead level. Strongly recommend this company.

I’ve been on the hunt for a company that could help me create a sturdy and stylish custom table base for my heavy quartz top, and I’m so glad I found ECon Welding & Fabrication. From the start, they’ve been super quick to respond to questions, and I really appreciate how they offer visual mock-ups to help you picture the final design. Their website is already really helpful, but they also go the extra mile by quickly answer your emails and by offering thoughtful advice based on your unique request — which made the whole process feel much less intimidating and stressful.

The table base hasn’t arrived yet, so I’ll definitely do a follow-up once it has arrived, but so far I’m seriously impressed with their level of customer service. The only downside is the lead time, but honestly, it makes sense — they clearly take pride in their work, and I’d rather wait for something that’s made right.

If you're looking for a company that combines craftsmanship with great communication, (I think) this is the one. Can’t wait to see the final product!

DO NOT PRE-PAY these people! Still waiting...

Our saga began back in January 2025. I spoke directly with the owner, Eric, who was friendly and offered helpful advice at the time. I explained that the table base we were ordering was for a custom table going into our breakfast room. We had a very specific timeline because of an important family event — my father-in-law’s 85th birthday party.

Eric personally committed to a 2–4 week delivery window. Based on that, we paid 100% up front in good faith and placed the order.

It has now been 11 weeks and we’re still getting excuse after excuse — and still no table base. Needless to say, we didn’t have it in time for the party. I had to build a makeshift plywood base just to get through the event.

Extremely disappointing experience. Again — do NOT pre-pay.
