If you are a FedEx Contractor, use ANY other VEDR provider. GroundCloud, Velocitor... etc.

Lytx is impossible to get a hold of, and their contracts are impossible to leave.

We have both had new installs and device transfers done and we finally spend thousands of dollars to leave this company.

We are now trying to purchase trucks from another contractor and they want us to take over a lytx contract. We thought it would be easy enough to just finish out their contract. Nope, they want us to sign an additional 3 years even though the devices are already installed and the other contractor is almost to end of term.

Do not put the handcuffs on yourselves. Go to any other company because this the worst vendor we've ever dealt with.

If I could give zero or less to this company I would.

First of all, screw you for “inventing” the worst dashcam system in the world! This is still America, and seems like you give no sh!t about privacy or personal space.

Second of all, only retarded people/companies would use your, seriously unreliable dashcams.

No one knows when it records, takes hours, sometimes days to get the 8-second video.

The $20 dashcam from Temu does a freakishly better job than this stupid/subscription service.

💩👎🏿🤮

I wish I never chose them. I was previously with Networkfleet. There sales team was good but as soon as you sign a contract the honeymoon is over. The product is good and I like what it does however there customer service needs a lot of help. Customer service must be overseas as they are very difficult to understand. They take a long time (days) to follow up with answers and then they just repeat what they already did and you are still stuck with the same problem. It has been 13 days since one of my vehicles has been involved in an incident and I still cannot get the video off of the unit. I would look at other solutions.

UPDATED FROM 1 STAR....Customer Service is getting "much" better. Looks like they were experiencing covid related staffing shortages and growth issues. The Issues have been resolved. Thank you, Daryl and Danae. ORIGINAL POST; Customer support and service are "Hands Down" the worst. Easier to get service from China on Amazon. Waiting for an additional camera for months now. Same woman representative called me again today and needed all the information that I sent them and her four times. It Takes 3-4 days to hear back from them; IF YOU DO.....utilize at your own risk. Camera systems are great. They need NEW MANAGEMENT and OWNERS.. shareholders and investors.

If you sign up and nobody does their job of cancelation they keep charging you. Speak to a manager and they tell you you are under contract and you agree to pay early termination they move the service cancellation off 3-4 months to keep collecting money for a couple more months plus service termination fee. On top of you buy the unit out right, have installed, etc. total rip-off. Also all other reviews are very accurate. I’m busting my cameras up and shipping them to them 🖕🏼

I have Lytx camera in our fleet of trucks. One isn’t working and I have two more that need upgrading. I have the two new cameras, just looking for them to be installed. Have been waiting two weeks just to get an appointment for installation and troubleshooting of the camera that isn’t working. Today I was sent a quote for the installations. They quoted $180 each for the three installations. Apparently I have to pay $180 for their installer to troubleshoot a camera that is under warranty!! The quote also included $100 de-install fees for each of the trucks that is getting the camera upgraded. They only have to take the dash apart once, but are charging a de-install fee ($100), and an install fee ($180). As soon as I got the quote which is during normal business hours, I attempted to call tech support and the call wasn’t even answered. I have left 2 messages for Gray Palmeter who is a level 3 tech support guy, and have sent an email to him as well. No response.

Worst customer service ever. They put you on hold for 30+ minutes only to come back on the line to tell you they only communicate via email. I have been waiting to resolve an issue for months!! Seriously considering looking for a different fleet management program.

Ever since the day the company installed the Lytx A.I. drivecam, my stress while driving has tripled.
Knowing that every move I make is being recorded in real time, a whole team of people I've never met are being alerted to me taking a sip of coffee, makes my job to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle so much more stressful, that I don't think I can drive professionally anymore. After 20 years of holding a class A CDL, I think I have to give it up, for fear of congestive heart failure, and the fact that my company is actively building a portfolio on me to incriminate and fire me.
Not just that, but now every "truck injury lawyer" out there will be analyzing my every blink, with the utmost scrutiny, trying to personally incriminate me in the case of a collision.
Too much personal liability. These companies need to understand that this is my life, my license, and it's their truck that needs to be moved.
I don't need to move it.

I’ve been waiting 4 days to get an issue resolved and I’m still waiting. Their client success managers are not responsive and the support staff can not find answers to my questions.

I am looking to terminate my contract with them because the customer support is bad.

More of a distraction device. Goes off for no reason. Says following distance when no one is around. Employer has multiple units and they all are distraction devices.
