The staff were very friendly and efficient. I was very impressed with the use of technology and being able to get X-rays done immediately after my doctors appointment is a big PLUS and being able to view the results a few hours later is a huge bonus. You have set a very high level of service. I am hoping that this leads to a satisfactory solution to my medical issue.

Losing your hearing at any age is a scary thing and I had no idea what to expect from my consultation that would help me to decide if I wanted to wear a hearing aid. This visit set my mind at ease and gave me hope that I was headed in the right direction. The Dr. was completely prepared to answer our questions and explain the process ahead in detail. I'm confident that I can be successful after this visit.

Care during minor surgical procedure was excellent. Very quick. No pain whatsoever. They worked well with my hearing impairment and made me feel comfortable.
My only complaint was that I was told my appt was at 9:30. Double-checked online. Got up very early since I had a long drive. The nurse commented that I arrived very early. She said my appointment was 10:45.
This is my usual experience with Kaiser: care is excellent, but the bureaucratic nonsense is stunning!

When I came to the office, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. After taking my weight and blood pressure, I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. Dr Ahn is very knowledgeable and focuses on being as objective as possible. That is very reassuring when you share experiences and personal or subjective beliefs. He is very fair and supportive of what I need to be healthy. This is why I would recommend the Adult and Family Medicine department.

Both my husband and I have Kaiser. His health care is more complicated than mine. So on the negative side, it can be a bit challenging to find a primary care doctor that you like. So far I have had good success, he has only had moderate success. The specialists he has seen have been great I have only had limited experience with them. Mental health services has been awful. Too few clinicians. On the positive side we have both been able to get labs and any other services very quickly. Pharmacy by mail is great.

You cannot ask for a better health care experience than Kaiser.

Other offices/systems may have more posh/grandiose offices, but they can not hold a candle to the 'one stop shopping' care you get at Kaiser. Every caregiver you deal with has access to your health records at all times, so they know everything they need to do the very best for you, and everyone is there for one purpose only: to keep you as healthy as possible, and to create the best possible outcomes for you.

You never find yourself caught in the middle between Doctors and Pharmacies and Labs and other facilities, the way I constantly was before I had Kaiser.

You can be sure that no one is getting a kick back to prescribe something, or do some procedure; it is all about you and your health.

Since there is no profit motive, and no profits being paid to shareholders, you know that EVERY dollar spent on Kaiser Insurance and care goes to CARING FOR YOU.

Since Kaiser is non-profit, all the staff tend to be very happy and that makes my experience SO much better. I think they know they are being treated as good as it gets, and that makes them motivated to treat the patients as good as it gets.

Some people complain that with managed care they 'can't keep their own doctor' or 'I can't go to any doctor I like'. Well I can tell you from experience that you cannot always keep your doctor with non-Kaiser insurance either. If you change jobs and your insurance changes, your current Doc may not be in the 'PLAN' that your new employer offers, so your choice will be to pay a lot more to see your current Doc, or change Docs, which these days is not easy task. For me, if Kaiser is not offered as an option with an employer, it is a deal breaker, no matter how good the job. I don't need a second full time job managing my health care with a dozen different organizations, all with different processes and phone numbers, and restrictions, etc. etc., to keep tack of and hope you don't run afoul of. With Kaiser I can have complete confidence that I can get the best possible care with the least possible effort on my part and at the best possible cost to me.

I waited 2 months to get in for this hearing aid consultation. When I called to ask what to expect the person told me that I would be given options and they would take a mold of my ears to custom fit these earpieces. Everything could have been easily conveyed over the phone. I wasn't offered to try any brands on or even to demonstrate what they sound like in my ear. I left the office and drove directly to Costco where a licensed technician gave me an extensive hearing test to compare to KPs. Then had me try on different brands, walk outside with them, show me how to adjust them, etc. I was totally impressed with their customer service and care for their clients. KP should take some lessons from Costco on quality and service.

I have had great experiences through the years with Dr. Lin & the Nurse Practitioner, who did an exceptional occipital block with my recent visit. They are all very pleasant, understanding & helpful. The MA was also very sweet with this visit.
