Going through a divorce was something I never anticipated, and the prospect of hiring a lawyer filled me with apprehension and skepticism – the kind I imagine is common for anyone stepping into the legal world for the first time. Now that my case has concluded, I can unequivocally say that choosing to hire an attorney, and more importantly, choosing Mr. Eric Martinelli, was one of the best decisions I could have made.

My situation before hiring Eric was dire. A default had been entered against me, and I was facing a default judgment that would have ordered me to pay a staggering $2300 per month in spousal and child support, with my ex-wife receiving 100% legal and physical custody of our three children.

The contrast between that potential outcome and the final resolution is nothing short of remarkable. Thanks to Eric's expertise and dedication, I now have 50/50 physical custody, joint legal custody, zero spousal support, and a manageable $670 per month in child support. Hindsight is truly 20/20, and I shudder to think how much worse things would be had I navigated this complex process without Mr. Martinelli's guidance.

While I still firmly believe that the most significant factor in any custody case is a parent's genuine effort to be the best option for their children, I now understand the immense complexities and unforeseen circumstances that arise throughout a case. In the beginning, the desire for concrete definitive answers is very strong, and its frustrating not getting them, but no lawyer can give the answers your looking for with any level of certainty.

What Eric Martinelli provided was the crucial support needed to effectively demonstrate my commitment to my children to the court. And in the courtroom itself? You absolutely want Eric on your side. He is a true bulldog on the stand, unwavering and determined when making oral arguments. He remains level-headed and exceptionally skilled at responding to any allegations thrown our way. It felt like he had an answer for everything, and I attribute that entirely to his thorough preparation.

I regret using Eric for my daughter's divorce. In my opinion he did nothing in her favor. It was like he was representing her ex and not her. She paid dearly monetarily and re custody issues. And his rates were not inexpensive. Also, in my opinion, he had no interest in truly helping her and lacked judgement, empathy, and a work ethic. I would not recommend his services.
