My husband and I consulted keen law offices several years ago. We initially talked to Kris Keen and we were up front and honest about everything and we were told that he handles cases like ours all the time. After filing an I-130 and them taking thousands of dollars, we were contacted by his firm and told that they don’t feel confident with the case so we didn’t even proceed with the I-130 that they filed. With everything going on lately, I’m looking into another attorney and I’m just remembering how bad of an experience this was

I really regret paying Mr keen in CASH because I cannot dispute the transaction with my bank. My husband and I “hired” Mr Keen on December 18th for an unusual case. Not related to immigration if that matters. To this day (April 15th) literally nothing has been done. Well, a background check which came back January 24th. He won’t even call back. I made it clear to him that I wasn’t expecting any miracles, just wanted his opinion and advice on what to do or how to approach the situation. Communication is key in any business transaction. We gave him money, he gave us nothing but the run around. It’s starting to feel like a scam. There were at least 4 or 5 instances where Mr keen or his staff “scheduled” calls to talk about the case. Every single time something came up and someone from the office text me THE SAME DAY to try to reschedule and push it off more. Mr. keen has shown no respect for our time, money, family etc. We had to move our work schedules around for these scheduled calls, only to never even speak with him. We’ve gotten no where. Once he even threw his staff under the bus claiming “he knew nothing of the scheduled call, it wasn’t on his calendar.” I was trying to give him multiple chances and be forgiving considering he’s an immigration attorney and well, you know the world right now. So Mr keen personally scheduled a call three weeks out only to cancel it last minute through a staff text. I text back about my dissatisfaction and have heard again, nothing!! (That was March 28th) Mr Keen if you can’t help just say that and give me my money back so I can go somewhere else. You probably have forgotten or haven’t even looked at the case since we met, but it’s time sensitive. The longer this drags on the less valuable an attorney even is. Do better!!!

anybody looking for an immigration attorney do not go here. My parents went in there with hopes of a dream after being here for 20 years Keen took advantage of my parents after paying about 10k he left us in the same place we started. The same thing happened to a family friend with Keen law office. He also threatened me to drop my case if not paid. Go else where they take advantage of people here.
