Stay away. They are a corrupt company that cons businesses into using them. Their "health insurance" is terrible and the HR is absolutely useless. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I've worked here for two years now. It's a wonderful company that treats its employees well and takes great care working for it's clients. The managers hire only the best people who are eager to help, and have created a very positive, team-driven culture. People are promoted based on merit, and I've seen many people move from very basic positions to more career-oriented roles because they showed the initiative and skill to succeed in those roles.

Whether you're considering working here or becoming a client, I recommend it.

Helpside makes it nearly impossible to obtain employer-supplemented healthcare due to their idiosyncratic method of defining a "full-time" employee. Despite averaging over 30 hours per week over a 5 month period, they refused to qualify me because a week-long vacation put me "under 30 hours" during one of my pay periods. They require some absurd number of consecutive weeks working over 30 hours before qualifying, so if you miss a day of work, you reset a 3-month eligibility process. I have been working as a full-time employee for 8 months now with a consistent schedule, but because of an occasional vacation day, I have yet to obtain benefits despite my employer instructing them to provide the benefits that are part of my compensation package.

Other employees have been threatened or simply had their coverage canceled for single instances of dropping below the 30 hour mark.

If you're an employer promising a benefits package to employees, beware of their inflexible process. If not incurring a legal liability, your employees certainly aren't going to be happy with coverage you supposedly offer.

Helpside is great. HR is extremely helpful with all the questions that I have. Payroll is also really helpful with reaching out with any issues on employees time cards. They were able to help one of our employees with issuing a new pay card the same day the employee lost it. They are also great to reach out to have them come to your business to talk about safety and forklift certification. Highly recommended.

Helpside is amazing. Every year I have to send them paperwork to fill out so I can maintain 3rd party assistance for my medical costs. They are always quick to reply and thoroughly answer any questions I have. They are professional, responsive and pleasant to interact with. Their website and online interface are also fantastic. I only have to bother them for paperwork once a year because I can access everything else through the employee portal. Over the years I have only seen them improve in quality and accessibility. I am very impressed and appreciative.

Working with their claims department has been almost effortless and the support from Raul and Josh their safety professionals has been incredible. Dealing with people and not machines. I had a wonderful experience working with Helpside. Their staff is attentive, friendly and dedicated to your organization's success. They take being a co-employer seriously and look to mitigate risk wherever possible. Should you wish and choose to work with their payroll and HR teams, they will partner with you on everything needed to get your organization legally compliant and do it with a smile. They are expanding their leadership training program to include on-demand training videos, but will also come to your location to train wish is a wonderful added benefit. This also includes the annual sexual harassment trainings for staff and leaders.
