They want $360 for a conference call to discuss options. But in my case, the so called attorney phoned me 15 minutes late (Red flag #1) (did not make up the time) and told me straight out he hadn't had time to review my paperwork (red flag #2)that I spent time in getting over to him! He did make a remark that he wants to review my signed docs instead (red flag #3), which I explained those would be sent if I hire them and he is looking at the same docs, just not signed. He was adamant about wanting the originals instead (red flag #4). He literally was quite and did not give any advice but to keep insisting for me to send the signed docs over and he'll Then review and let me know! Seriously! I sent an email directly to the company stating that your money back guarantee applies in this case. This again so called attorney did zero for me but cause me more anxiety, yet this company took my $360 for the 10 minute call! I'd advise all to seek help anywhere but this place.

As of January 9th, the company is still trying to cover their inept ability and lies. They did nothing for me except take my money! I am highly disgusted that they are fighting me, an retired woman on Social Security, looking for help. All this company wants is to find money from anyone, no matter if they are or are not your attorney.

I first met Crain and Wooley through Lylan Jessica Nguyen, the lawyer who presented a noon lunch seminar on estate planning. I was impressed with her explanation of the pros and cons of various strategies in estate planning as well as the customer service orientation and a reasonable flat fee for their services.

Our initial meeting with them was productive. It made my husband, and I really focus on what we wanted our estate planning to accomplish, and they made it clear that they were there to help us achieve our goals through a thorough legal analysis and goals-oriented trust.

As the trust progressed through communications back and forth and subsequent meetings, it became very apparent that they had done a more thorough and goals-oriented job than what we could have done on our own or that the “boiler plate” trust that a previous lawyer had put together for us. They considered every contingency of things that could happen and developed alternative plans to ensure that our goals were achieved.

During the process and before the final signing, they sent us several videos and readings to do to make sure we had every opportunity to educate ourselves and understand completely the trust process in Texas and how we would be protected so that our goals would be fulfilled. It was a great learning experience which greatly benefited us.

At the final signing, we went through the entire document with a coach to explain what we were signing. In the process, there were two minor errors discovered that they immediately took responsibility for and corrected before proceeding. Likewise, they also gave us warnings that might happen with unscrupulous people in the deed transfer market and bank recalcitrance at administering trusts. Both these things did happen, but we had confidence from their coaching and handled them well.

C&W also handled the deed transfer of our properties and helped us with the process of transferring all our assets to the proper places. With our previous trust lawyer, we were on our own once the trust was set up, so we appreciated all the advice and help C&W gave in getting everything resolved satisfactorily.
Finally, we have confidence that our executor, an out of state close relative and partial inheritor will be enabled by this trust and C&W’s help as needed will be able to distribute and close out our estate with minimal effort on her part and will not have upfront expenses.
