Rick came with high recommendations by someone I trusted. He maintained good objectivity, assertiveness, and empathy throughout the whole process. All of the billing aligned realistically with the work which wasn't the case with my first attorney. It's not just about the rate but how much time an attorney bills at that rate is what really matters. I never felt he ever took advantage of that which so many can and will. It's obvious that he has a lot of knowledge, experience, and integrity. I felt a good vibe when I was talking with Rick from a intuitive angle. He also seems to have good relationships within the system. The paralegal, Trish was great to work with as well. She responds quickly to emails and was there through the whole process. They seem to be a great team. I plan on recommending Rick to others because I know he will take care of them.

Rick Mellen was great to work with. He responded quickly to my emails and listened to all of my concerns. Divorce can be taxing emotionally and financially so having a good divorce attorney on my side helped alleviate a lot of my stressors. Rick is calm and collected, and he knows the law. He was more than fair in my case and quickly got the job done. There were no long drawn out fees. He gets right to the point.
