I was accused of and fined for stuff I didn't do, by a corrupt cop that has since lost his license. I was scared that if the cop could do what he wanted then I was screwed and felt like the only chance I had in court was getting legal representation to fight for me. Jeff not only didn't fight for me, but after taking my money he went to the prosecutor and agreed to a plea in abeyance. I could have done that myself, but I was falsely accused and wanted my name cleared, and he sold me out! Then after it was over I found out the corrupt cop had deleted the video footage from his body cam etc. because it was not in his favor, which would have all but ended the case against me. This could have been an easy case to win, if Jeff had had any interest in doing what he was hired to do!

Mr. Slack was great to work with on my misdemeanor case as my public defender. He was very responsive to any texts/emails that I had for him. I even stopped in unannounced a couple times and he was still willing to talk with me. As my case was being handled remotely, he was kind enough to let me know a few times that I did not need to log on to the zoom conference.

Though I hope to never require his services again, I would gladly utilize his experience again if needed and would recommend him to those who may be looking for legal representation.

I never believe in reviews because for me it was a waste of time. But at this point I have no way to express myself how bad that law firm was. The company I worked for put me on with slack law firm. They charged me and come back and tell me if I don’t want those Tickets affected my license I have to pay more. I did, and after 2 months I got a letter from the court saying my license will be suspended if I don’t pay for those tickets. When I contact them they lied about it saying the court forgot to put me in the system. I called the court myself the court said. They never file a motion for my case. So they quickly send a email finally. After a while he come back and tell me. They lower the price on the ticket for me. And I said don’t you think if I want this ticket on my record I could have paying them myself. Long story short I end up losing The case after 8 months and lose my job after because I’m a cdl carier.Please use this law firm at your own risk.

Jeff Slack is an extremely helpful, friendly, & connected lawyer who deserves a higher rating—even though I’m sure the inordinate amount of one-star reviews (with a telling, far less amount of 2 & 3-star ones) is probably just par for the course with attorneys.

I’ve only had good interactions with him. When my ex in-law, Dave Staheli from Staheli West, tried to frame me for a theft in order to destroy my little family, Jeff diffused the situation like a pro. He has ways of using his contacts to make things go away behind the scenes before they boil up too far, and other advanced techniques that only the best use.

He’s that rare, humble, kind type of lawyer who still maintains personal professionalism and is great at keeping you from worrying about anything, while still being extremely timely with reminders. Great lawyer. Highly recommended!!

Hoping others will take time to review this post. I was given Mr. Slacks number as a referral. I was hesitant due to the previous reviews. However, after speaking with Mr. Slack, I knew he was the right choice for our circumstances. Hands down an outstanding lawyer with compassion. Our court case came out better than expected all because I chose the right lawyer. Thank you for all you have done for our family. Poor communication!
He does not communicate and ignores evey text, email, and VM.
I got in contact with him Feb. '22, and hired him Apr. '22. He was referred by my job's EAP benefit.
He goes weeks, sometimes months without contact. Granted I had to change some info in my divorce petition, but still he'll never contact me back. When I was ready to serve, took forever to happen, when he got back to me he informed me my petition got shredded by mistake.
Had to do it over again. Wasn't able to serve because, well I couldn't get a hold of him. That is 1 year trying to get the divorce finalized.
Eventually my ex hire a lawyer himself, and the matter was resolved in 2 months. However because I did not have representation, even tho I did and asked Jeff for help and he was MIA, I got screwed over.
My divorce was finalized in July, and I have been trying to get the refund for whatever is left of my retaining fee, since he barely did anything and still can't get a hold of him. I tried email, call, text, everything!
His last communication was August 23rd when he asked me to confirm my address because he was putting the check in the mail. It's November and Nothing!!!
Absolutely disappointed and thinking I might have to report him to the bar.
This is not ethical!

Over the course of about 5 years of off and on trouble with the system, Jeff has always been there to make sure that I got the most acceptable repercussions via court trails. Having Slack on my side, I have never had jail time or any serious consequence to the minor incidents that I've had -
That being said, I know I can rely on him if I ever need someone in my corner for Court. HIGHLY recommended. My family and I appreciate him fully.
