Jon & K.C. Worked AMAZING wonders for me in my high-conflict custody case. They were able to work quickly, effectively, and diligently to get me what I needed same day AND sooner than what they quoted me! Super communicative, nice & professional! They will be hired to handle any and all of my future needs for my case. Thank you both, again, so much!

Hired the firm to represent me in a child custody case. I was very unhappy with the representation I received.

Update: In my Opinion
The firm was very unorganized throughout the entire process of my case.
They were very difficult to get ahold of, and would not respond for weeks at times.
They would miss court ordered mediation sessions, and attach files from another client’s case to my court docket.
Turnover was terrible, throughout the process of my case, I dealt with over half a dozen different paralegals.

I spent over $13,000 on a mediation agreement.

I left reviews on multiple platforms.
It took me a while before I decided to leave reviews as I’m still dealing with the fallout of bad representation.

Update: I have the case files.
There are definitely exhibits that don’t belong to me attached to my court docket.
The firm did in fact miss court ordered mediation.
These are facts!

McDonald’s!? What does McDonald’s have to do with any of this?!
See what I have to deal with.

I also looked at some of his other reviews.
He has numerous other negative reviews.

I added the exhibits that were attached to my docket.
These exhibits do not belong to me.

Update: More than a year after my divorce and I'm still finding new areas in the decree where I was screwed by Jon and KC.

Hands down the absolute worst choice you could make for a divorce lawyer.

They use a terrible agency with high turnover for their legal assistants / paralegals. They are always too busy to talk to you, but don’t worry, they don’t have staff either… just a bad answering service to take your calls.

They don’t remember any of the facts of your case. They’ll say that things you tell them will be brought up and used later, then they never do it. The worst you could get.

They actually convinced me in my final mediation to part with way more money than what would have ever been awarded by any court. One simple example, my ex and I gifted my parents $20K over three years prior to the divorce. My own attorney, Jon Parchman, argued with me that I had to reimburse her for a gift that we both knowingly made because it was to my parents (not legally true). Then, Jon spent 10 minutes convincing me that the reimbursement needed to be for the full $20K. In the moment I was stressed out and confused and finally agreed. But, if $20K was given, that would be $10K each, which is what I said at the time. Let’s say my parents gave the $20K back, my ex and I would each get $10K. So, if I reimbursed my ex $10K, and I got nothing back (my $10K), then that would be evenly split.

Additionally, Jon sided with the mediator that we should not count numerous high-dollar items at all that my ex had possession of. Then he agreed with the mediator that I should split what was left 60/40 in my ex’s favor.

They also knew that my ex received a very large amount of cash in our first separation a couple years prior, before we initially reconciled. They knew that the cash had never been returned to community property or otherwise accounted for. They said that my ex would have to account for that money, however, they never brought it up. That could have reduced her take substantially. They also knew she was caught hiding cash and they never brought that up.

Basically, my ex kept an SUV, a motorcycle, and a highly valuable coin collection, along with every single item I’ve ever purchased that was in the marital home… without those counting toward her portion of the community property.

Jon and KC themselves screwed me over. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on them just to get through two meditations and the result was that I got completely screwed. They were actually in the mediation arguing against me as if they worked for my ex-wife. They didn’t push back against the mediator on a single item or issue, but continuously pushed me and convinced me to give into every demand.

So, why would someone’s attorney do that? Well, they wanted a trial. They wanted depositions. That was their strategy. According to them, the trial, though they said there’s no way to tell how much it would actually cost, was going to cost another $20-$30K. Then add on the depositions. I was borrowing from my 401(k) and racking up credit card debt to pay them. Remember, in a divorce when one person isn’t working, the other person is paying for two houses and all the bills… along with child support. I was completely broke. I told them the money was going to run out before we even got to a trial. I asked to have a mediation. I’m not sure if they were just pissed and didn’t give a damn anymore, or if they thought a bad enough deal in mediation would make me back out and go to a trial. Either way, they weren’t just bad representation, they helped the opposing side tremendously.

What I would be thinking at this point if I was reading this review is, I wonder if it’s the attorneys or if it’s just this guy. Well, I caution you against finding out. It cost me everything. My ex now has my entire 401(k), also every bit of cash I’ve ever saved, and I have all the student loan debt I racked up paying our bills while I attended grad school during our marriage.

Retaining Jon Parchman and KC was truly the worst mistake I’ve made since deciding to marry my ex-wife.

These lawyers are bullies. I am not a client but they are hyping up my ex husband to sue me 6 months after our case was finalized. I don’t know how these people sleep at night doing everything they can to make themselves rich and destroy families and ethical practices in law. I pray to god every night to protect myself and my daughter from the evil that is this law firm. They also had a process server try to serve me papers not even 10 days within the court date which is illegal and unethical. You think they would know better by how much law they practice but it’s another way to charge my ex husband more money which takes away from our daughter. There is a difference between justice and being a bully.

As a father fighting for custody I had Jon Parchman. Who was a fantastic attorney that helped me win custody of my 5-year-old son in Arizona, even though we live in Texas. He is licensed in both states, which was a big advantage for me who currently lives in Texas. They were well prepared, really knew their stuff, and were always honest with me from the very beginning which I greatly appreciated. (Case was in both Texas, and Arizona)

One thing that impressed me about Jon was his knowledge. He had a deep understanding of family law and knew exactly how to handle my case (and this case was crazy filled with lies from the mother, false accusations, and anything you can think of). They were able to anticipate and overcome any challenges that came our way and focused on the facts of the case!

I also appreciated how honest and straightforward Jon was. They didn't sugarcoat things and gave me realistic expectations. This helped me make informed decisions throughout the process.

The best part was that we won the custody trial! My attorney's hard work, knowledge, and strategic approach paid off. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Overall, I highly recommend this law office to anyone looking for a great family law attorney. They were professional, knowledgeable, honest, and played a crucial role in helping me win custody of my son. I'm extremely grateful for their support and guidance throughout the case.

You never plan on needing a lawyer, at least it never crossed my mind, but last year when my ex wife denied me possession of my daughter, (for more than a month) for visitation, claiming all kinds of bogus accusations, I knew I needed to take action. I was very lucky to have Parchman Law Group handle my case. K. C. and his team were fantastic! They got to work right away in a very efficient and professional matter, I was kept inform at all times and all my inquiries were answered and explained in detail and in a timely fashion. In the worst part of a global pandemic PLG did a fantastic job and we won the case! Thank you Mr. Parchman, K. C. and the rest of the team!
