Denise was great to work with. My ex-husband and I fortunately had a "simple" and cordial divorce, but we knew we needed help with the financials and making sure we'd both be ok after things were finalized. Denise spoke with both of us on the phone and then had one-on-one and/or virtual meetings with each of us to work out details. Once we got all of the details finalized, the divorce itself was a breeze. Thanks for making what could have been difficult a very easy process for us both! Hiring Denise with Divorce Strategies Group was one of the best things I have ever done for myself, and my children. My divorce was potentially very contentious, and with Denise’s guidance through this process my ex and I were able to navigate it with no fighting. We followed her advice to not discuss the details with each other, but to save it for mediation. That was such a wise piece of advice. On the day of mediation, we didn’t even have to see each other face-to-face. That kept our negotiations strictly to business and there was no opportunity for emotion to cause the communications to devolve into a tug-of-war. The way that Denise guides couples through the process of mediation is, in my opinion, the absolute best way to achieve a non-contentious divorce. Incredibly happy with the service and support I received from Divorce Strategies Group during one of the most difficult times in my life. Denise and team went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible while being an advocate for the children in order to come to an agreement I was happy with. During divorce where children are involved, a man in the south has to deal with a system that does not take into account current family dynamics. That system is based on an outdated dynamic where the woman is seen as the only one that can care for the children. I am not a "weekend dad" and Denise helped secure an agreement that takes into account the importance of a father in their children's lives. I don't know what I would've done without Divorce Strategies Group. Not only did Denise French get my divorce mediated in 1 day (with an ex who is NOT an easy person to deal with), BUT her staff facilitated all of the coordination of the QDRO stuff post divorce. If I would've just gone the traditional route of just hiring a divorce attorney, I wouldn't have had anyone to help me through all of the post divorce financial stuff. I literally would not have known who to call or who to follow up with. This company also has been meeting with me and talking about my budget, my finances, and even gave me referrals for things like health insurance, tax people, etc. ALL stuff I wouldn't even know where to start looking for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
