I’m mexican, I got married in Houston, and later moved to Toronto. I needed an apostille for my marriage certificate in order to legalize it in Mexico. After researching my options, I found that the apostille had to be issued specifically in Austin, Texas.

The price was very reasonable, and the process was super clear: I mailed my original certificate to their office, completed the payment, and the return shipping within the U.S. was free. Since I needed the document sent back to Canada, I used another company for the international shipping, as that part was more expensive.

Customer service was excellent—quick responses, very kind, and they made me feel confident from the beginning. They also provide the apostilled document in English, Spanish, and French, which helps avoid extra translation costs.

Best of all, I saved a lot of money by not having to travel to the U.S., handle the process in person and wait several days for it to be ready.

The business description on Google lists ‘notary services,’ but this is not mentioned on their website. We drove to the business address, only to find out that they do not offer notarization services and are by appointment only. While we have nothing against the business, it would be helpful if they updated their Google listing to reflect their actual services, so customers don’t make unnecessary trips.

Legatille Apostille Services was recommended to us by the lawyer who we hired to obtain our Golden Visa in Spain. My husband and I needed our marriage certificate and our FBI backround check documents apostilled and translated.

Legatille was friendly and responsive throughout the entire process. I received timely answers to all of my questions, and they kept us informed throughout the way.

The only issue preventing from me giving the fifth star is that we were initially told that the process would take 12-15 business days to complete, and in the end it took 25 official business days to receive all documents. We were updated along the way that the process would take longer than 15 days, but did not expect to exceed 20. (We submitted the request on November 21st and received the final record on January 2nd. I am including 2 non-business days for Thanksgiving, 2 days for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and 2 days for New Year's Eve/Day in my calculation). However I appreciate that it was a busy time of year for us to make the request, and am grateful that t work was was correctly completed in the end.

I would absolutely recommend Legatille to anyone looking for an apostille service, and will use them again if and when we need to have more documents apostilled now that we have been granted our Golden Visa!
