Visited the DPS office in Palestine, TX, and it didn’t feel like your typical DMV or DPS office. Christine and her coworker (whose name I forgot) were incredibly friendly and helped us a lot. They had the best attitudes and gave clear explanations. Kudos to them! Just don't forget you need an appointment!

The best experience! I am from Athens and opted completely out of going to our DMV for good reason and am so glad I did. The people in Palestine go above and beyond to help you. Very patient and kind people! It would be great if they could train the Athens DMV.

Hands down the best experience I've had out of any dmv. As an out of state driver needing to change license over they helped me figure out what paperwork I could use to provide proof of residence and assisted in scheduling an appointment. The ladies at the desk were a breath of fresh air and easy to work with. They were very polite and their humor and interaction made the experience even better. Highly recommend going to this location for your driver's license needs. Alecia is amazing!
