Tiffany has a sign in front of her window that states: Tiffany Reaves Chief Deputy Auto Department. We are from Tatum. We went to Henderson to renew our trailer registration, while there we wanted to get a plate for our off highway Can-Am. Henderson Tax Assessment office was out of the Can-Am license plates for off highway use and was expecting some in but we were going to go out of town and the license plate would be required If we were taking our Can-Am to the place we were going. Henderson sent us over to Overton because they stated they have 5 license plates left in Overton. She said don’t leave yet. Let me make sure that Tiffany is there. They called Tiffany and the Henderson employee said she was there and that she would be open until 4:30. It was about 3:30 now. and said go on over it’ll take about 15 miles from here we walked in at 4 o’clock and Tiffany came at us with a frown and said what do you want very rude very condescending. I’ve never met such a rude person. I told her what we wanted. She said I have no clue what you’re talking about get away from me and stand over there at that window in actuality she approached us wow just wow so we told her what we wanted that we had come from Henderson they were out of the plates for the Can-Am and that she had five she said I’ve never did this before. I have no clue what you’re talking about. I never spoke to anybody. She finally picked up the phone and called Olga from Henderson at the Assessment office, that we had dealt with just before coming to Overton. That’s where we were sent to. She told Olga so that we could hear “they just walked in on me and I’m alone in this office, I was frightened” I turned to my husband and said isn’t this a public entity? This is the tax assessment office we came in during hours of operation and we’re sent over and she was notified we were coming over. Why is she working here and it says that she is Chief Deputy?! Why is she working there if She’s so afraid and can’t do her job and doesn’t even know how to get a license plate for Can-Am? I don’t understand finally she had to call Olga twice to figure out how to do the Can-Am’s paperworkin the computer because she had no clue what to do or how to give us a license plate the questions I asked she didn’t know so she had to call Olga again. Olga explained it to me over the speakerphone as always Olga should get a 10 star in the Henderson office, she is always customer friendly and polite. if you can avoid this place in Overton at all cost, Tiffany is afraid of her own shadow, condescending, rude and appears to have anxiety issues and anger issues go to the one in Henderson they will treat you right. We finally got what we wanted only because of Olga. I sincerely, hope they either remove Tiffany from this position and put somebody in there that is human kindness, friendly and competent with the public. Tiffany definitely needs to work on her mental health, and her social skills. in my humble opinion, I would not even employ her Employee her at McDonald’s, Burger King, or Taco Bell.

The DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) needs a visit to this office. Tiffany Reaves is not the face of East Texas hospitality.. We wanted to give the government money but we were greeted by hostility, aggression and borderline incompetence.

Tiffany in the tax office is so incredibly rude and condescending. I cannot believe she works with the public. Her behavior and demeanor is absolutely unacceptable, and there is no reason to treat customers that way. I really hope she gets some counseling, because I am sorry that you’re that miserable that you have to treat people that way.

Just go in there with your head down and better hope you have any and all of the obscure paperwork filled out!!

Or she will just turn around and ignore you.

Or just go to one of the other offices in rusk County.
