Tom kollens completely screwed me over did nothing in my defense. Wanted me to buy poster board,draw diagram of park. This guy lied to and had nothing prepared for trial. Did nothing I asked gathered no evidence in my behalf, had nothing prepared he could show me two days before my trial. He could not even locate my file in his own office 2days before my trial. This is not a professional law office in any sense the word. I fired this man in the courtroom and am in the process of filing with office of disciplinary counsel at the Supreme Court of Ohio. It would be my strong suggestion NOT to do business of any type with this office!

Just an all around great experience!! Tom Kollins really went to bat for me and is extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, on time, and really gave me incredible peace of mind. I thought that with the case I had I would be better off hiring a “real” lawyer instead of a public defender. I would have been better off with the public defender. I missed my first court date which was MY fault, but I NEVER heard from my lawyer. You would think that if he is representing you he would reach out and see what was going on. No. Showed up to my second court date on time. Tom showed up FORTY MINUTES LATE. No call, no notice, once again. I was given a vocal time and date to meet next as he ran out to his car with me in tail. I received nothing in the mail and no calls about when my next date was. Come to find out I had the wrong time wrote down once again, I missed my date in court. Now here is where the real problems start. I got in touch with Tom’s paralegal to have him get in touch with me. A week passed with no return call. I called the office once again to find out what the next step was. Tom’s paralegal then took it upon herself to start arguing with me, yelling at me, and insulting me insisting that I, “grow up and get my life together”, and that there was zero wrong doing on their side. REGARDLESS of who was at fault, I was utterly shocked at the pure unprofessionalism shown by his office. This women belittled me and talked over me for our ENTIRE conversation. She ended the call telling me she wasn’t sure if Tom would be willing to represent me, and hung up on me. In my opinion they did not give me the same care as other clients based off of their own stereotypes. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM, USE ANYONE ELSE.
