Do not hire this firm if you value your freedom and / or money.

We retained Rocky Ratliff and thought it was an added bonus when our consult included the famous dad, JC Ratliff. How can we go wrong right? Wrong !!! JC was non- existent after the consult. Perhaps he accidentally wondered into the room on his way to the bathroom because he was never seen again.

Rocky talked a good game and had the swagger to go along with it but we definitely should have done our homework!!!

Turns out his reputation DOES NOT precede him. Our case was handed off to a UNQUALIFIED colleague who left the firm approximately one week after my husband's sentencing. Hmmm convenient.

This firm will take your money but give you minimum work in return. We felt abandoned and cheated out of a proper defense.
Shame on the office staff for watching this and pretending to be oblivious to what this firm does to its clients.

What should have been a simple misdemeanor case with probation resulted in a felony and prison.

After sentencing, this worthless attorney (who I will call Mike, because that's his name) actually texted me and promised to fix this and spit-balled many ideas INSTEAD he stopped answering my texts and calls. No more money meant no more of their time.

Rocky Ratliff never responded to my correspondence or calls. He had absolutely no remorse or accountability. I’ve been told by other lawyers “this is very unprofessional “. He gives attorneys a bad name.

Rocky Ratliff did not deliver what he promised !!! A proper defense .!!

The mistakes made in this case are so grossly negligent and horrendous, I’m in utter disbelief that this firm is up and running. Probably need to explore options to assure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Another Google review stated they reported them to the Bar Association.

We were forced to retain a second attorney -AWESOME atty out of Columbus who pointed out every rookie mistake made by this firm and cleaned up their mess . Shameful that we had to pay more money to fix what this firm did.

The collateral damage has been so impactful, our family may never recover fully.

Don’t waste your money on these dismissive and untrustworthy “attorneys”

I met with JC Ratliff and thoroughly explained my situation to him, and he assured me he could help… I gave him a very large retainer fee…. instead of showing up in court he sent his son rocky, who later admitted he didn’t take any time to familiarize himself with my case. Rocky did absolutely nothing during my hearing, and caused me to be incarcerated for literally no reason. So I fired them and asked for my money back. They made excuses to keep all the money, even when they didn’t do their job or even send someone else to do the job.

I was told they were going to refund me the rest of the retainer fee, since they only spent maybe half an hour on my case at the most… It has been almost half a year, I’ve called them more than a dozen times, Every time I’m told no attorney is available, so they take my number and make more empty promises to return the call. Almost half a year of being lied to, after making the huge mistake of trusting these people with money, and especially my freedom.

Not only did they not defend me, but their meddling in my case caused my situation to become significantly worse. I would have been so much better off with the public defender, who actually works circles around these inattentive so- called attorneys.

These guys told me they would be aggressive in litigating against Kenton Police for excessive force. I was thrown on the ground and badly beaten by Officer Yoder in 2020. They never returned my calls after that meeting because they are too afraid to expose the corruption of the Kenton police. Video evidence of this beating exists and I couldn't get them to return my calls. Politics are at play here, I wouldn't trust this firm.

They hired new attorney that says they will call you and doesn't. Doesn't return phone messages. Wasted a month waiting for them to call and then when I called they said they were to busy and referred me to someone else. Why didn't he say that a month ago!
