At the young age of 18, my son, Alex, who was born with Congenital Heart Disease, died after experiencing complications from a massive heart attack. As I gently stroked his hair and took in every little detail of his handsome face, I promised him that I would fight for him until my dying day.

For almost 2 years, I fought every day to find a law firm who would help. I made hundreds of phone calls and told Alex's story more times than I can count, but I was still turned down. I will be forever grateful to them for agreeing to take my son’s case.

Mike Becker and Dave Oeschger were nothing short of amazing from the very beginning. Their patience with me; their outstanding knowledge and expertise in their field; the compassion they have shown every step of the way; the way they handled Alex's case, and fought for him as if he was their own child; the bond that has been formed that I will forever carry with me until I am reunited with my sweet boy. Alex's name and legacy will continue to go on because of them. For that, I am eternally grateful. His legacy will continue to live on, and he will continue to be a blessing for others in his death, just as he was in his short life.
