Gina got me in to help me after my criminal defense attorney was unable to represent me in my divorce. So far the experience has been pleasant and Gina is very compassionate.

If you require an attorney who doesn’t care about you or the outcome of your case, Gina is the attorney for you!! How she was voted ‘Best Attorney in Sandusky’ 3 years in a row is beyond me. She is clearly only in it for the paycheck. I filed for divorce in May of 2023 and am still waiting for it to get finalized. I waited around all summer for her to do something and the only things that were accomplished were 2 temporary orders. And those were only established because of my ex’s attorney so he could get visitation or more time with our children. Gina couldn’t even get a temporary child support order established for me. She let my ex’s attorney (who had only been an attorney for 6 months at the time) walk all over her. We never even had a 4-way meeting to try to settle everything. What a joke! Before our second temporary order was established, I made it very clear to Gina that I would never agree to give my ex every weekend during the school year (which is what he was asking for), as that is the only quality time my family and I get with my children. I don’t even think that she relayed that to the magistrate because the order that he proposed was completely asinine and I ended up having to give up part of my weekends to my ex. I was never in the room when she spoke to the magistrate and my ex’s attorney, so I just had to blindly trust that she was advocating for me the way I needed her to, but something about her just made me feel very uneasy and I always had this horrible gut feeling that she wasn’t really fighting for me. Her communication is subpar as well. I would send email after email and they would all go unanswered for weeks. I would call her office after not hearing from her for weeks on end, only to get attitude from her assistant. I also made it very clear to Gina that this entire process and her communication was very unnerving for me, yet she did nothing but tell me what I wanted to hear with no follow-through. I finally decided to hire a new attorney at the beginning of December 2023, which most can imagine how frustrating that is since I had to pay another retainer, but it was necessary. After hiring this new attorney, I decided to look at Gina’s reviews online and that’s when I realized there were several others that had the same experience with Gina, and also decided to get rid of her and hire a new attorney halfway through their case. Do not hire her. She does not care about anybody but herself. She will drag out the entire process for you and drain you financially. She should be disbarred!!

I wish had read the reviews on Gina before hiring her for my divorce. It was all good at the beginning telling me that she was gonna have my ex pay for everything. That I was gonna get half of everything that my ex owned. Yeah she seamed like a caring person. As the time went by and we met up with my ex and his lawyer she got me nothing!!! My ex wanted pictures of the kids and I told her no and yet she still put it the paper work. When I told her I didn’t want something done she did it anyway. Gina is the worse lawyer I have ever met!!
She is afraid to speak up to the other lawyers and don’t listen to her clients. She also did me dirty by putting in the papers that I wanted my maiden name back and had me initial it and then she wrote afterwards that my ex was to get have if the court fee back…
I figured she was a female that she would get me what I wanted but instead she just took my money.
I feel sorry for the anyone that hires her!!!

My ex has filed for custody numerous times for a variety of reasons and mostly made up. This time I was accused of various abuses against my children. Gina was there to calm me down...empathetic...and very caring. After speaking to her my confidence with the case was always high. My experience is not the same as rhe negative reviews. She is not there for just a paycheck and she is a great lawyer.

Worthless lawyer. Sounds good at consultation, told me there's no way you can lose this case. True reality she just wants your money. Did absolutely nothing for me besides show up at court. In the end, what I hired her to do, she just dropped it, without even asking if that's what I wanted to do. Total trash! And $25 bucks to read a email then $25 to respond to it. Ok I get it but at least read the whole thing Gina and respond accordingly, I mean it was only 4 sentences. Don't make people send another message so you can just eat up their retainer fees. And speaking of that still waiting for my leftover money from the retainer fees, months later. Worst lawyer I've ever dealt with by far, I've had appointed lawyers at least put some kind of effort in. Gina put absolutely zero effort in. Did not try what so ever. I will continue to put the word out on her every chance I get. No one deserves to hire a lawyer that doesn't want to fight for them.

Was not able to take my relatives case due to timing, however during the consultation Gina seemed experienced and caring about the sensitive matter at hand. She was very down to earth and easy to talk to. Hopefully I won’t be needing a lawyer for anything but if I ever do I would go to her!

My experience with Gina McNea was wonderful. She didn't waste my time with irrelevant issues. She told me what we could do and how we would do it. I adopted my Grand Nephew with her guidance and expertise. I highly recommend her services. She won't waste your time or lead you to believe she can do something she can't. Thank you so much Gina!

My experience with Gina was absolutely the best thing I could have hoped for. She was in constant contact with me and was always very helpful with any and all questions I had (she even spoke with my mother and helped answer her questions as well) lol. She’s someone who TRULY cares about your case and your family. She was EXTREMELY prepared and professional. I HIGHLY recommend any and everyone to hire her for any type of custody/adoption case. Because of her and her work, I now have the opportunity to FINALLY get custody of my daughter. She honestly was the answer to me and my families prayers and I fully believe God sent her to us!!!!
