It wouldn't let me get away with choosing no stars so I had to choose at least 1! My husband and I hired Brian Hammon 2 years ago for a child custody case. Paid the amount that was asked, got all the information together that was asked for. (We printed it out, put it all in order, and gave it to him! Not via mail or email so it’s not like he or his secretaries had to do it) Had a good start on the filing but then he completely slacked off and let the respondent's attorney take over it all and basically handed her the reigns and let her and the respondent control it all! He even allowed for the attorney to speak to my husband in a manner that she should have not want it being his attorney!! Several court dates and a lot of money down the drain, asked him months ago to file something for us and he never did but sure had no problem taking our money! Does not like to return calls or emails, a HUGE LACK of COMMUNICATION, his secretary Ann is awful and very unprofessional. He does not stand up for what is right, only for what/who’s in the wrong and taking people's money! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. They take forever to file basic paperwork, they lied and said the other attorney delayed the hearing by not submitting documents and casenet clearly shows it was them, and most importantly they cost me like 3k because they didn’t make sure the child support agreement was backdated. Avoid at all costs

Mr.Hammon has always resolved any traffic related issues I've ever had, and then some! Not exactly sure why some people end up complaining about issues with his "rude secretary" either, as I've never had any issues there.. She has been nice and helpful every time! I will always go right to him, along with refer people to him, if any legal issues ever arise, bottom line.

Do not use this Attorney, He doesn't do much for you except take your money. Hired a different Attorney and it took Kathleen Aubuchon 2 weeks, to get the job done, and Was with him for almost 2 years, and nothing but cost me lots of money.

Just wanted to share my experience. The first day I called, Mr. Hammon answered the phone directly and got me in for a consult three days later
I paid the amount requested and was told by Mr. Hammon that he would pull the records regarding my case and we'll file a petition the following week. An appointment was scheduled. I was contacted by Ann 20 min before my scheduled appointment and told they were not prepared yet to file the petition because more research was involved...she then asked me for the names for those that needed to be researched....which Mr. Hammon took during our consultation the week previous which I thought was odd if they already started research. I sent Mr Hammon an email over the weekend not expecting a response until the work week. I did not receive a response so I talked to Ann and was told Mr. Hammon would return my call. He did no return my call. I called the following week...left another message and no call back. Sent another email...no response. Fast forward to week 5 without any response. I called 1st thing that Monday....and left a message on the machine. I finally was so upset by Tuesday that I called 4 times ...all calls went to vm so the last un-answered call I left a message requesting my money back and also sent the same message via email. Called first thing Wed morning and it went to vm....so my thought process was they were screening calls. I called right back from my husband's phone and wouldn't you know it....Ann answered first ring. I was finally connected to Mr. Hammon and he picked up and said "what's going on". I said I was wondering why my calls were not returned and what should I do. He said you need to file a certain petition. So I said I would like my money back and he said he used it to research If he in fact researched why wasn't I contacted? He said I should have requested a phone conference...really All I was ever told by Ann was he was gonna call me back. I asked why there was no response to my emails? He replied that Ann receives his email and he didn't see it. Bottom line....I did not get my money back, never received any calls in 5 weeks and was told to file a certain petition.....which I am assuming he thought I was a mind reader since he never called or emailed me with that info and the only reason I was talking to him that day was because I called from my husband's phone.

*** Update****
I did receive $200.00 back from Mr. Hammon along with a letter that told me what to do next as well as an apology for not contacting me.

Do not hire this lawyer, he has no issues taken your money. After which he will dodge your calls/dodge if you come to his office. He’s a terrible lawyer and needs to be looked at for his actions by the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel.
