I wish I could give a 10 star review!!

Let me tell you— I had a case where all the cards were stacked against me. The charges had negatively effected me at work, with housing opportunities, resource programs, etc. but my attorney (Darius Almond) took the time to learn about me, my case, my home life— and he was able to get my charges COMPLETELY DISMISSED. He fought for me, and saved me from a predicament that made me feel so hopeless. He (Almond) showed up to every court appearance, in a timely manner and ready to go. And his paralegal/front desk staff were so communicative and reassuring.

Again— if I could give a 10 star review. I would.

My experience was scary and anxiety driven by myself of course and my attorney was amazing. I honestly trust no one but I put my faith in Daris Almond and he did not disappoint, he's very professional and he was brutally honest all the way through the process. We went through options and he believed in me regardless of how it looked and in the end I never stepped foot in the court room and it was finally dismissed. I was so elated , he and Heather are an awesome team and I would recommend him over and over again. Despite them obviously hiring a firm to try and boost their ratings, do NOT let that fool you. If I could give less stars than one, I would If you value your freedom (or money) at all, find a different attorney. We filed a claim against them for ineffective counsel and won after my ex went to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. After we hired a new attorney he was finally released but 18 months in prison is a long freaking time for an innocent man. Their (Ms. Brady) response? “I’m so sorry, I wasn’t prepared.”
I will say, that was years ago now, but that doesn’t mean any of us have forgotten what you did to us. Even if she isn’t in the office anymore, y’all tolerated that. AND that wasn’t even the first time it had happened! Y’all are why attorneys have bad reputations. Shame on all of you. Oh, and God bless you - I think you’re going to need it.

He only cares about the "win" and grandstanding. He does not care what is in his juvenile clients best interest. Almond does not take time to find out about clients" history and only sees juveniles on the day of the hearing.

He met with my son on 2 or 3 occasions and decided he knew what was best for my son. When I and my father disagreed with him, he called us "disgusting". I thought that was very unprofessional.

My son has been in detention for several weeks. He doesn't belong there. He needs treatment to help him deal with his issues.

I know Almond makes his money by winning but he shouldn't put his clients' welfare at risk. It seems as if Almond wants to get his clients off so they can continue to make bad decisions that will let them right back to him for legal services. I don't want my son to wind up in jail and definitely don't want to have anymore contact with Almond then necessary.

I used to have the best lawyer out there until he got too old and senile and let me tell you that he cost a pretty penny. So I hadn't needed a lawyer for years and then the circumstances presented itself to where I did. So I called a long time friend that's been working in the courthouse for over 20 years and asked him who's the best out there? He replied this guy Daris Almond runs the show and runs the courtroom as if he owns it and he could not have been more spot on! Much less did I get an incredible deal on price but he went above and beyond and cleared my name for everything. Daris Almond is the real deal and I personally will use nobody else but this man as long as he's around. I more than highly recommend the same for you if you want somebody who gets real results, names cleared, and isn't scared to go to trial to do so then this is your guy. I can't thank you enough Daris!!!

This is by far the best law firm I have ever used. They were courteous, prompt, professional and have reasonable rates. This firm could charge you a lot more and still be worth it. They got me a hardship license in no time. I highly recommend this firm.
