I would find it irresponsible to not leave a review for the office of Schmanke Law office and of Paul's performance. I'm certain most have heard commercials for lawfirms. You always hear at the end of their commercials, " the choice of a lawyer is very important and should not be based solely upon advertisement". I believe it is very true. You want real people to provide the real results of what a lawfirm is capable of. So here's mine, I'm absolutely satisfied. I found constant professionalism. There was trust built and it was earned instantly. And it was maintained throughout the process. They showed compassion while staying focused on finding solutions. I've heard of many instances of poeple hiring lawyers where they were promised alot but very little happened. Or worse, the lawfirm made mistakes which made things worse. I never felt Paul or his lawfirm was incapable. I felt at ease with Paul and everyone within his office. I hope they read this and feel joy because they earned it. If I had more money I'd gladly give them a bonus.

I used Paul for my adoption case. Never could get calls back from his office, never got updates. Whenever I was in person trying to sign documents he made me wait 20 min in the lobby while he conversed with friends down the hall. Then he made it clear he could careless about my questions and spent 5 minutes with me before having his secretary sit with me for the paperwork so I couldn't ask anymore. Never heard from him after that, dfs had to tell me when the adoption hearing was. Never saw Paul until 2 minutes before court. He took us into the wrong courtroom. Then afterwards he tried harassing me for the adoption costs when the state clearly told him, even in person at the hearing, they were covering the bill. Now I'm receiving harassung emails for the payment, instead of the state. Stressful, non communicative and not family oriented. He just wants money. Find someone who makes your case mean something and actually cares about the clients and their families. don't use this office!!!

I called for some help in real estate and never got to talk to him at all, it went through his paralegal ( I do believe) and never got an answer back at all from her at all. I even texted her back a day later, still nothing. Just thought it wasn’t very PROFESSIONAL at least she could of told me that He wasn’t interested.

Since this review the office has reached out and I now have a phone appointment.

I would highly recommend Paul Schmanke to anyone! He worked so hard for me and my kids. He truly is a very caring person and puts 100% and more into his work. I do not recommend this law firm! Katie Emie is supposed to be a guardian ad litem but does not have her wards best interest at heart. Please for the sake of your children do not appoint her as gal

Con-artist, feeble , arrogant. Will rip you off of your retainer and claim it's your dissatisfaction that's the actual problem when you question anything he does. Nightmare experience, stay far, far away.
