This review is specifically for the kids section on the second floor. I've read reviews that they had a huge section designated for kids, so I had to check it out. Once you walk in from the parking lot, take an immediate right up the stairs (I don't know if there is an elevator).

This floor was huge! Biggest kid section I've seen. The Teens room had their own room. There were multiple study rooms which is pretty awesome, I haven't seen those in the libraries I've been to in the past. There's an art studio as well.

The kids/preschool section was nicely decorated. The books were organized and they seem to have a huge collection of childrens books.

My toddler loved the play kitchen; there's a puppet section under the tree, a play boat with fishing toys, blocks, chess table, computers, and magnetic blocks. We spent over an hour there and it's a great place to take the kids. I see that they have many events planned that's posted on their bulletin board. I will be back for sure!

We moved here from out of state and Avon Public Library is one of our kids favorite places! The library is always fully staffed, and everyone I talked to so far has been very helpful and friendly.
They have plenty of seating for grown ups, so I can bring my laptop and work while the kids are browsing for books or playing. This isn’t just a library, it’s a play center!
My kids love to read and love the fact that we aren’t limited to how many books we can check out at once.
During the summer they have free shows for kids every week, and they’re actually well organized, educational, and fun!
We feel so lucky to have access to this library. It’s one of the best we’ve ever seen.

Great spot for kids! The second floor is completely dedicated to children of all ages. Fun activities. Great farmer’s market and other free programs. Parking is tough sometimes on a busy day. Staff could be a little more friendlier.

I've been going here for nearly 10 years for books! Love it so much. Kind staff, good resources, and great technology. There's always something going on here; between farmers markets, magic shows, airplane projects, or other events (I think its on their web page) there is never a dry moment. There's something for everyone to do here! There selection of books are great and ever expanding... especially with the renovation a couple of years ago! Overall, I definitely recommend.

I have lived in several states and been a member of several libraries, and this has been by far my favorite! I mostly bring my children to finish their homework + catch up on some reading myself, but the setup of the 2nd floor is so wonderful. Love the cozy reading nook, and how the different areas are set up for the different age groups from toddlers to teens. Staff always very knowledgeable and helpful. I love this library!
