This program has helped my son so much. The directors are very communicative and responsive and have helped shape my son. The teachers are so kind and want to be there from my experience. Thank you for letting me able to work and feel my boy is looked after and cared for while learning so much

Last December, I quit my job and unenrolled my children from daycare due to high daycare costs and my work schedule. From the month of January to February 2024, my 3 year old was a little sad because she missed interacting with her teachers and the other children at the daycare so I wanted her to go to a program once or twice a week that was affordable. Creative had their open house in January 2024. My daughter was crying when we left the open house so I decided to give it a try and sign her up. I originally wanted her to go from February to June but it was too late so she attended from March to June of 2024 for 1 day per week.

For 1 day per week part time, it was great for her. She was so excited to go to Creative that she would skip her breakfast in the morning (I have to force her to eat before she leaves). By the time, I picked her up she would be telling me about her day. Also I would learn that my daughter would give her teachers a hard time just like she would with me. I was surprised that they didn't kick her out. She would be so happy to go and be there. I would be so embarrassed hearing about my daughter's behavior but I'm surprised the teachers were patient with her.

They do educate the children. They have centers and different themes for the week. I know for Mother's Day, they had the children do lessons and my daughter learned about gardening through the program (I can't remember if that was April or May). As of June 20, the plant that my daughter brought home is so big and she's so proud of it. She talks about how big her plant got and she still has nice things to say about Creative.

There's only one issue I have with Creative and its the playground area. The playground is so tiny and its in a compact area. I don't know if the town will ever upgrade that in the future. I gave Creative 5 stars because my daughter loves the school and that tiny playground. I was also very impressed with the yearbook that I received on the last week of school. I thought it was so cute and even shed a tear. It was nice seeing the pictures of my daughter in the yearbook for the short time that she was there.

I would have sent my daughter back for the 2024-2025 school year for Tuesdays but she was accepted into one of the magnet schools in Hartford. I haven't made a decision yet on if she should go to school in town or go to the magnet school. If I decide on sending her to school in town then I will see if I can send her to Creative every Tuesday for a half day since the school in town is part time.
