I've used Investax for several years now and I'm always happy with the service and outcome.

Every year I do my tax, I deal with the same person. When that person is promoted, he/she still oversees the work and so I never feel like I have to build a brand new relationship each year. It seems like a great way to develop team members.

Defy has been looking after me for 3-4 years and is really great. She is approachable, clear and accurate. There is always some kind of value-add and a great trust relationship.

Fees nearly doubled or tripled YoY without explanation.

You can see from their google response to our feednack, there is an expectation for us to question the fee increase even when the submission shows the work involved this year is less than last year. (Example: Last year we had an ABN as part of our submission this year we did not include the ABN)

The reason we went back was not because of their service but because we did not have time to look for other accountants (good ones are hard to find and I can guarantee you - these guys are not it....)

Initial consult was helpful with Ershad - but its a sales pitch to be brought into his busines model. The support you receive from staff after the meeting with Ershad is completely different.

It was definitely a difficult working experience & the 'general support process' is poor or limited due to the level of experience the 'accountants' provide.
