If you came from out of state then this the place to come to get your registration and plates. The DMV takes too long and is confusing but this place does it in 20 mins. It’s great because this place is partnered with the DMV so it works as a great alternative. You would have to pay a little extra than DMV but that’s the price of convenience.
Gary is great and answers all your questions and explains the process as you go.

Had to get plates as moved to CA. Went to this place as it would generally faster. Never received my plates from the DMV. Ended up ordering another set of plates from the DMV that cost extra as I never got the plates as they got ‘lost’ in transit.

When I asked the person who did my paperwork here, he wouldn’t respond. Had to call multiple times to ask what happened to my plates. He would say to just wait. Today I got a USPS package with my ‘lost’ plates from Bassi Notary in Lathrop (not the DMV). The person who did my paperwork had put their Lathrop address then! I went in Jan, and I got my plates from Bassi today - May.

The two stars are just for the convenience of not having to go to the DMV, and it was quick.

Note that this place doesn’t give you the plates on the spot. At least confirm that before paying. There are other places that give you plates on the spot.

Gary took great care of the issue I needed to fix with an out-of-state DMV transfer. He was very kind, walked me through the details and even stayed late just to accommodate my schedule. I had an urgent need to transfer title for an out of state vehicle. Mr. Bassi confirmed on the phone that I had all of the necessary documents, including a weigh scale ticket that was needed to complete the transfer. Thus saving me multiple trips. I showed up at the appointment time and he was all ready to go. The process took less than 30 minutes and customer service was great.

Had an issue with my vehicle’s registration due to a DMV error, but this place got me sorted out. Received the title from DMV maybe a week after. Would recommend their DMV services if you’re willing to pay their reasonable service fee.

I moved from out of state and could not get a weekend appointment with DMV or AAA. I was able to make an appointment the next Saturday at Bassi! He was knowledgeable and patient. It didn’t take much time to walk out with my registration and plates. I am so grateful for this business! The fees are well worth the time saved and aggravation avoided!
