Review of Donna J.R. Conne
Consummate professional, fair and equitable rates of a mobile notary serving the Monterey Peninsula, an honor bound Lady of integrity and sharp Sherlockian observational wit, with a Carmel-by-the-Sea panache and bon vivant presence to win and awe clients, onlookers, and hangers on. Donna commands respect and admiration, a no-nonsense paragon exemplar of the commission bestowed upon her by the Secretary of State.
I am a notary of local, municipal government, having taken my fifth exam for notary commission only four days prior to engaging Donna’s services for a very close, personal, sensitive, family matter; and Donna was a rock star elite of notary who won the heart of my cantankerous, surly parent, and earned the respect of my comparatively nubile notary status and paltry experience as I admired a veritable legend and master of the notorious notary craft. I was awestruck and smitten with her command of notarial duties and lore. Her subtle humor and comforting charm set the stage for an amicable presence, and as an 88-year young active and mobile notary she would inspire older clients with a knowing, generational respect, and younger clients would admire a commanding woman of presence and authority the likes have only been seen of recent with SCOTUS Justice Joan Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Donna responded to our mobile notary request within 45-minutes, responsiveness was critical and crucial as my parent was scheduled for surgery within two hours, and as I went down the online search list I did not reach her until trying six other notaries that did not respond. Donna does not only navigate the parking and corridors of the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP), but she carries herself with an aura of confidence, class, and sass likely honed in navigating the complex, micro-cosmopolitan social dynamics of the Monterey Peninsula.
Donna provided timely, succinct, equitable, and fair notary services, and to meet her is an experience. Her navigation of CHOMP is masterful, her respect and grace in receiving my parent born in 1930, and her broadcast of her personality of a beautiful soul of joy and purpose, was a refreshing spell of light and levity to tasks and circumstances that often are mired in darkness and doubt. Donna set the tone, took care of business, and to a person all felt better in making contact with her as she effectuated and perfected the duties beset to her all the while brightening everyone’s day.
Be prepared to speak loud, as she arrives packing hearing aids, but this tech savvy octogenarian prefers communication via text, a welcome respite of communication to quell miscues and misunderstandings when operating under tight timeframes and significant life deadlines. Donna was poised to renew her commission in October, so expect her to offer the highest level of service into 2028.
